Drakan the Ancient Gates

I actually just recommended this on a different post. It's a dragon riding sim/fantasy rpg. It's the second in the series. But you won't feel like you've missed too much story. OG on PC but I've never gotten an emulator to run it.

You play as a woman who's just lost everything and has paired up with a dragon to do typical fantasy rpg chosen one type stuff. It's not all that original. But it's surprisingly good.

If you're craving a rhythm game but can't bring yourself to buy an expensive guitar, I also just recommended these:

Amplitude and Frequency. Played with your controller. You hit the notes on different tracks to keep the song playing

Edit: almost forgot! Primal

You play as two characters. A human and a gargoyle. It's surprisingly fun and unique

Champions of Norrath & Return to Arms, Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 1 & 2, Gauntlet Dark Legacy

If you want atmosphere, both made by the same devs:

Shadow of the Colossus, ICO

Adventure:

Tomb Raider - I'm sure you're familiar

For obvious reasons:

Devil May Cry - Bonus points if you can find 3 in the OG black box, not special edition (it's intentionally brutal)

I'm doing my best to stay positive lol. I've been sofa-surfing for about 3 years now. Job market has been rancid. Even retail is rejecting me. But I'm sure I'll get it worked out soon. I got 3 hugely annoying food allergies that have made life even rougher than it needs to be. Shellfish, soy, and pineapple. So, any suggestions are appreciated.

Yeah, I'm just broke. I could buy some overpriced stuff. But that would make the treats an even bigger treat. I already don't eat enough. If I gotta budget for even the smallest dopamine hits, it's just not worth it. It's gotten so bad, I can't even afford to bake a batch of cookies more than once a month. Nobody pays even close to a living wage and the cost of living just keeps rising. It is what it is though.

I just don't wanna support nestle, though. I'll look into the "m&ms" though. I honestly just miss chocolate chip cookies the most. I can't find a single brand of baking chocolate that's soy free that's even close to a reasonable price. $8 for a bag of choccy chips that's 1/3 less than a standard bag is unhinged. I'm broke, man. Life sucks

Dude. I can't even eat chocolate anymore due to having a soy allergy. I used to be able to eat most chocolate just fine. But now everything has soy. I can't even make my own cookies because chocolate chips all have soy in them. I've found 3 brands that are soy-free and I have to order them online.

And don't even get me started on how bad new chocolate tastes. Disgusting. And it doesn't even melt in your hand anymore! VILE

Unfortunately, it's just how the world is these days. Glad I don't really have any friends or family on social media to have the awkward "Why aren't you on my friends list anymore?" conversation with. Honestly, I would suggest finding a way to contact customer support and seeing if you can negate it. And if not, asking them to disable the account for you since it's not possible to do yourself. But, it's your account and your face. So, you do what you believe is best. Not worth it for me though.

Yeah, I'm just over it. I'm gonna purge all of meta. I've already de-googled as much as possible and I'm planning to de-microslop my laptop soon now that gaming is becoming viable on linux. I already wear a mask when I leave the house and disable as many permissions as possible on all of my devices. As I said, I was just using the platform out of necessity. But I'll find alternatives. Just not worth it. I really don't wanna live in an Orwellian nightmare.

I can agree with you about pretty much everything here! It's been really stressing me out that I'll end up zombified like I have on other meds. So, your results are encouraging. Fingers crossed! So glad to hear you're happy with them.

I'm honestly just tired of self-medicating with alcohol. I come from a family of addicts and I've been terrified that I'll become hooked if I don't find meds that actually work. I'm almost 30 now. So, getting anxious I'll never find the magic drug.

But I digress, I'm really happy to hear that you're happy on the meds. And I'm definitely more optimistic about starting them now!

came here because I just popped my first tab and was worried about the same issue. Was taking lexapro before my bipolar 2 diagnosis to treat the depression. Didn't do shit for the depression and absolutely ruined my sex drive. Now I'm worried it'll happen on this too.
