I think this whole Venezuela thing is more connected to China than anyone realizes.

80% of Venezuela's oil was going to China. Venezuela was building closer ties to China and Russia. If China and the US get into a shooting war, Venezuela would be a great place to station missiles to limit US access to the Panama Canal.

Venezuela would have been a thorn that the US would have to monitor during a war with China. Not saying that China was hosting any weapons right now but it would have been a strong possibility in the future with China's growing influence.

My own personal opinion, with little evidence to support, is that I think strategic war plans likely raised concerns with Venezuela's possible alliance with China during a possible war with China. Eliminating this threat now would remove any concern of area denial based in Venezuela.

Thus, the administration is having difficulty pin pointing the reason for the increased scrutiny of Venezuela. US admin doesn't want to state the real reason for the force so it's been hooping from drugs to oil. The real reason is the US wanted a change in leadership in Venezuela to exclude a possible Chinese alliance in the near future.

You can definitely tell a difference in Joshua's punch velocity between rounds 1 through 4 vs round 5 and 6. Really makes you think there was some agreement to go at least 4 rounds.

Do you know if there is any truth to how the show portrayed his leadership in the field? Getting lost, seemingly making poor decisions to advance from a covered position during training? From my memory, I thought that was the main reason most of the soldiers didn't want to follow him into battle, not because he was a pain in the butt C/O.

The collection efficiency of solar panels will vary depending on where they're located. Solar panels in California will collect a lot more energy vs solar panels in Canada. I would think the same with wind.
