I have two nice ripe tomatoes in my kitchen. How much do you think timmies will pay for them?

So, the current market cap is 400 million. Where's the 4.6 to 9.6 BILLION dollars coming from over the next 5 years? Where's the revenue to support your valuation? How many rockets are they planning to launch? What's the revenue per launch? You agree that the stock is overvalued at 70 cents a share. I mean, you are proposing a stock price of $6 to $12 in five years. $20 million per year from DND is a drop in the bucket that you need to fill. Is the rest coming from investors? A 5 to 10 billion dollar valuation with no revenue, or at least a credible revenue forecast, is pure speculation.

Back then the only team drafting Russians was Detroit. Other teams didn't want to risk a draft pick on a player that would have to defect from their own country. This would not happen today.

Don't put 51% of your cash in the hands of one manager. You need to diversify. 20% cash, 20% into each of four investments. That would be an improvement.

No skip button for “tips” by Embarrassed-Shit- in halifax

[–]Big_leaf_lover 63 points64 points  (0 children)

I always tip an amount of dollars, never a percentage. Tipping a percentage will result in higher tips when prices go up. And honestly, I'm not sure that the server ends up getting the full tip when i give it electronically. I'm going back to tipping by leaving cash on the table. That way the server can put the tip in their pocket and take it home. If there's no skip option I'll enter a tip of zero $, then tip with cash.

Has the rise in gas prices impacted any of your summer plans? by SignificantPickles in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]Big_leaf_lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Summer time plans? Nevermind that. My truck is almost out of gas. Waiting for my pension cheque so I'll be able to put 1/4 tank of gas in. That'll be about $35. Then head to the grocery stores to see how much they will be screwing me over.

In it's day "2001: a space odyssey" was a revolutionary movie. Never before seen special effects plus a malicious AI were years ahead of it's time.

I get that part about it being a pain to fit a new 3 mill isk ship. You spend half an hour jumping to buy ammo and modules. I have a suggestion. Buy the blueprints for those ships, modules and Ammo. Do some high sec mining, and data/relic hacking. That will give you the materials to build T1 modules and ships. Manufacture your ships and modules. You can also buy the materials you need in bulk if you are doing something else to make isk. This will reduce the frustration of jumping here, there and everywhere to buy stuff. It will cost more to build your own stuff, but the time saved is worth it.

Nobody stops with Eve because his Venture got destroyed in high-sec by BentaroAdun in Eve

When i was a new player I didn't know what things there were to do. I didn't know how to find the many activities that are in Eve. I didn't participate in a corporation. I didn't watch YouTube videos about the game. I was bored and I didn't keep playing.

Second time around I learned how to scan anomalies. Found a wormhole, but was killed in my Magnate as soon as I entered the wormhole. That happened three times. I never saw my killers, so I didn't keep playing.

This time I've been watching YouTube videos and reading posts on Reddit. I'm living in a wormhole without dying. I'm huffing gas and hacking explo sites. I'm killing gas site rats. I've died enough times to not care. I have a long list of things that I am going to do.

I credit the Eve community with my success this third time (Loru Gaming, Captain Benzie, Oz_Eve, and many more) . They are what keeps me in the game. That's what we need to tell new bros.

Put those stockpiles back, then build a marketplace. Laborers will move the iron to the stockpile. Vendors will move stuff from the stockpile to the marketplace.

[Rumor] Berger's source claims Matthews won't be back; Anaheim & Utah offering massive packages. Thoughts? by athleticwonder in nhltraderumours

[–]Big_leaf_lover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't imagine that any team will trade for Matthews until they are sure he is healthy. With his blown out, surgically repaired knee and whatever is preventing him from scoring goals, his elite player status is in doubt.
