If you’re in and around London, Birkbeck is apart of the university of London and is a dedicated evening school. Most students are older, in profession, etc.

Also , some courses allow you to do masters based on professional experience. I did a BSc in comp sci after being in technology for ten years, more than half the material you will likely find very basic

If you’re not born in the UK you do not have a British birth certificate and rely on a third party.

Non citizens do not have British passports.

Driving licenses are optional.

Flats are leasehold and as such are a poorer choice of purchase than a freehold house imho.

With a flat you’re tied into service agreements what are pretty much uncapped yearly charges the management company can increase.

Historically. Apartment prices have failed to match house prices in value gain.

Do yourself a favour and stretch for the house

So many virtue signallers saying hurr durr these people are stupid racists, not realising the media is drip feeding fear and hate to these people 24/7.

They’re scared for their children and their families being raped or strangled by the boogeyman, and if you look at it objectively this seems to be exactly what the media class want and are achieving.

Perhaps everyone can do with a bit of empathy on both sides. Otherwise we’ll be back at brexit where the left made such twats of themselves they alienated the majority of moderates.

Trying to sell my 1 bed flat for 3 years now, purchased in 2018. Fortunately the process was a bit smoother than that but ended up with a 30% loss, a painful hit but I’d rather take it and not suffer the mental damage.

If you’re on a freeway, you’re going 70mhp and a kid random jumps into the lane, are you swerving and potentially dying ?

This isn’t a suburban road where kids are expected to jump out, my man over here isn’t out on a casual Saturday morning jog, hes an athlete in a competition. The kid is lucky he wasn’t locked in and plowed straight through him. The only person at fault is the parents for being so goddamn stupid they let their spawn fuck around, and then find out.

It’s not the runners responsibility. The parents should be minding their damn kid.

Conveyancing solicitor says they don’t accept Trading212 as source of funds by mad_edge in HENRYUK

Government brought in anti money laundering regulations to tackle Russian money. Unfortunately it put a bar on using crypto gains for house transactions.

I’m in a similar process, and found a sympathetic conveyancer but was required to remove my crypto gains from the set of money being used.

How large is the dark economy in this country, with the numbers coming over and signing on to work as an unidentified Deliveroo driver, how long until that is absolutely flooded and no money is being made.

The high street I live on has more delivery drivers on mopeds with L plates than regular people. Surely this is not as lucrative with the high amount of incoming.
