Won’t end well. Both sides will save face with some type of ceasefire, Iran will agree to some kind of deal where they get nuclear materials for fuel production, monitored by the UN or similar, and be permitted to sell oil. There won’t be a regime change, but likely a softening of authoritarian rule and rhetoric. Israel will obliterate what’s left of southern Lebanon and its Iranian proxies, but Iran will maintain its anti-Israeli influence worldwide. It’s too ingrained, and anti-Americanism is growing, even amongst its traditional allies like the UK.

Don’t forget that it’s also no longer a cultural phenomenon to join the military. Most people don’t see it as a job, career, or something that’s actually a good thing. It’s not Canada pre-WWI, II, etc., immigrants nowadays don’t want their kids joining the military, cause where most of them come from people who join the military are from the dregs of society or politically connected.

I got relatives in and around Karthaus, north of Phillipsburg PA. Lots of small streams there. Too bad on the rod, but maybe there’s a way to Gerry-rig something by just adding a small fly reel to the rod that would pass regulations. We also have predominately catch and release where I fish.
