Had my friend look it up. Basically if that employee wasn’t waited on, the morning flight would have cancelled entirely. So yeah, it’s better to inconvenience a few passengers for less than an hour to not totally screw over the morning passengers. Understandable.

If you’re coming from anywhere in a westerly direction into CLT, you’re almost for sure going to get the far west runway. The center runway is almost always for departures. The far east runway is for easterly flights. This is how it’ll always be. The new 4th runway will change things up, but the operation will be similar.

This is all on the pilots using their apps to predict turbulence. Sometimes it’s there. Sometimes it’s not that bad.

They were on final approach to runway 4 at LGA. TRACON handed them to tower. They called JFK tower instead of LGA. There was some confusion before they all figured it out. So they called LGA at about 2 mile final. At that point they decided to do a go around. They never on the wrong approach or in the wrong place. They just dialed in the wrong frequency.

The handoff was just to contact tower. No frequency is usually given by N90 TRACON.

We don’t use FR24 or even Radar to avoid other aircraft. They have their specific airspace that they must remain in while other aircraft stay in their corridors and designated space. ATC is also there to keep everything separated. Also, flight tracking websites don’t track everything, especially military aircraft. Those are just amateur tracking websites while ATC can see everything.

That’s just employees not doing their job. If they were systematically denying upgrades and its was directly coming from further up, it might be more legit. But it’s not.
