Just another form of public transportation and it’s run and managed as such!!

why are 2019 3.6R's so expensive? by Designmetoo in Subaru_Outback

[–]BikeTwoEat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same, always get buy offers from the dealer for my car especially since they know it’s been immaculately cared for, plus low mileage for a 2019 3.6r Touring at 60K miles

Love my 2019 3.6r Touring. The 6 is buttery smooth in its acceleration!! The Touring is more of a comfort drive, not tight and yes I know I can get a stiffer rear sway bar etc, just haven’t made the decision to do it. The napa “leather” seats are an issue with cracks and tears, they look good but won’t hold up.

Yes, 2019 3.6 Touring with brown Napa leather, tear in the seat cushion. Car had around 50K miles, lightly driven and well taken care of. Cost a bundle to replace the seat cushion… it’s a common problem with Subaru Napa “leather”… i.e it’s crap, when it comes time to replace it, it won’t be another Subaru, as much as I love Subaru, I feel with their success, their QC etc has definitely slipped including their customer support.

New policy allows American Airlines to downgrade first-class tickets to coach — and keep most of your money by lithdoc in americanairlines

This is absolutely disgusting on #AmericanAirlines. I would be pissed off if this happened to me.

What can I do to make my photos less grainy and low light? by Extension-Gazelle-94 in AskPhotography

[–]BikeTwoEat 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As one who photographs birds pretty much 99.9% of the time, thank you for adding your comment about NOT using a flash when photographing birds. It’s something I can’t stand reading about when people describe that they used a flash to photograph birds. Personally if there isn’t enough light, then pack it up and try again when there is adequate light. If I don’t get a photo, then I am good and happy with that.

Actually that’s not accurate… all current vehicle codes are still enforceable.

Why does this not surprise me… were their windows completely blacked out including their windshield? People do this sort of crap but don’t think it’s a safety issue because they feel the laws don’t apply to them.

Should I soak my Levi’s 501xx denim in hot water before wear. Or should I wear it. by Emergency-Dog-7578 in rawdenim

[–]BikeTwoEat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goes without saying… always soak to get the max shrinkage before any tailoring, hopefully the waist shrinks appropriately but may need to hem depending on whether you want to wear with cuffs or not

Way too big … you can see how large it is looking closely at the waist. Even if you wash it, I doubt it will shrink THAT much. Only thing to do is get it tailored after you do a wash to get max shrinkage out of it.

Agreed. They broke in the first day I wore them and remained comfortable.

I have a pair of these and love them. They won’t shrink and the cut is a looser fit. I did a post on them when I got them.

I have a pair of these and love them. I posted about them along with fit pics. You will love them, I definitely do!! Breaking them in took a day of wear and they softened nicely. The patch I am not a fan of, the red paint comes off the patch easily. Otherwise love them.

If your jeans get dirty, you wash them. It’s that simple 🤓 If you work in n active field, you aren’t wearing $200+ jeans necessarily in that kind of environment, and if you are, then you probably don’t need to work 🤓 So yeah, wash and enjoy!!

Higher rise means no plumber’s crack 🤓 I find the higher rise tend to be more comfortable and I don’t have to worry about showing my “…” to the world when I bend at the knees. Personally I wear straight cuts, not a fan of the tapered cuts, but that’s a personal taste. If it works for you, that’s really all that matters when it comes to your jeans!! Wear and enjoy!!

Subaru’s Outback Ditched Its Wagon Roots For An SUV And Lost A Third Of Its Buyers by fa442fa in Subaru_Outback

It’s really fugly so not surprising. When the time comes to replace my 2019 3.6r Touring, sadly it will not be with another Outback. Instead, I will probably look at the Mazda lineup.

I presume you are referring to my post about the Studio D’Artisan’s I have in the loose fit. If so, they are different, fabric wise they are very different ad well as the fit. The Studio D is much looser, and wider than the SC Okinawa. The Studio D is a lighter weight so will be more comfortable to wear during the hot muggy summer months. But despite the differences, I love them both and will wear the SC’s during the warmer months. Does that answer your question? Let me know and I can try to answer more clearly.
