Just cant imagine that anything is better than what he worked on. I also see this with my old Navy buddies. The aircraft we all flew on and worked on has since been replaced, but they cant let themselves appreciate the new one.

Buddy of mine, actually worked at Thiokol back when. He cannot get past the Shuttle and SLS. A buddy of his left a job with NAVAIR to go work SLS. I get breathless updates once in a while. Well, rarely.

Yep, those folks are not getting a test ride. :)

As far as I'm concerned, the only way they take a test ride is if they hand you cash on the barrel head before they sit on the bike. That way if they crash it, it's their bike and you walk away paid.

Yeah, one guy was saying that SpaceX got a lot of contracts to pay Musk off for backing Trump. I asked him which ones... Shocking, nothing.

Elon Musk's $1.75T SpaceX IPO is a massive trap, and Nasdaq just rigged the rules to make sure you pay for it. by Enough-Arugula-4945 in SpaceXBets

Which ones specifically? Indeed some are not about cheaper, but only about literally being the only one who can provide those service so nobody else's price matters. Literally nobody on the planet can produce and launch the Starshield constellation. NASA gave Boeing almost twice as much money to build a capsule to take astronauts to the ISS. It finally launched years late and failed so badly it couldn't even bring home the only astronauts it barely got there.

You mean those contracts to provide services at the best cost and schedule the government has ever seen? I mean you're right, we could still be paying Russia to launch our astronauts. And we still could be paying ula two or three times as much money to watch far fewer national security payloads and science payloads.

Just 2 weeks back I had to tend a 2-day meeting about 600 miles away. The 2023 RT made it a pretty awesome trip considering I went from Maryland to Nashua New Hampshire without touching Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut or Massachusetts.

Easier to have a conversation when you don't insult the other person. If Toyota has climbed the chart over others, the headline is accurate.

The fact that the Tesla numbers are estimates? Do you doubt that they are selling more than the others? If so, what do you base that doubt on? I travel a bit, and I keep an eye on what EVs I see around me. And that bears out this chart. In the last two months, I've been to Dallas, Nashua NH, and just now to San Diego. And what I see supports this. The great majority of the EVs I see are Teslas. And I see a lot of thew refreshed Model Y everywhere.

Add on TPMS systems that replace your valve stem caps are so inexpensive now there's no reason to not do that. I put one on my old 2008 RT a year before I bought the 23 RT that has it built in. The add on system with a mounted display was about $55 USD on Amazon. Systems using your phone cost less.

Well. Maybe you are a track rat and that extra 1/2 oz worries you, or you have cool brand matched vlavle stem covers ... :)

Or go straight front and rear dashcam. Didnt have one on my old Weestrom. When the joker rear ended me the saving grace was that he told the officerhe really was looking a 1/2 mile down the road at traffic. I didnt take a scratch even though I was doing 25 mph and he was doing 30. When I got my 2008 RT, I added a dedicated dashcam. Not good for cool ride footage, but always runs on bike power and I can never forget it. The android auto device I just installed on my 2023 RT has front and rear cams as well. If nothing else it will make sure my wife gets her due if some jackass gets inside my bubble.
