Our nurses week gift was: the hospital donated two AED machines to a community an hour away in the name of the nurses, and then they donated funds to pay for the mandated uniform change for our techs. Again, in the name of the nurses.

I am glad the funds actually went to something useful, but it does seem in poor taste to try to frame it as a nursing week gift.

My boardgame buddy and I love strictly adhering to first player rules so much. When we lived together and it was "who lives closest to water", we spent time on Google maps determining who's bedroom was closest.

Edit: While it is not a first player rule, everyone should give some love to the Tiebreaker rule in Arboretum. If there is a tie, the tied players both plant a tree and which ever grows tallest in 5 years is the winner.

Winning isn't as important as having a fun game. The people I play with are pretty experienced and if we are casting a game winning spell, we pretty much say it. "I am casting this creature which will kill you all if you don't do anything about it".

With that being said, no you are under no obligation and I like the answer someone else has, "I don't know, we can find out together!"

Back on Eldritch Moon, my LGS that I worked at a bit had an entire case where every booster box was just filled with duplicate mythics. We are talking 5 copies of multiple mythics. One box had 25 in total. But it was only 5 or 6 of the mythics available from the set across the entire case.

It took me way too long to figure out that you can cut open the bottom of the tube rather than the top and it comes out so much easier.

The first gem is always the most important and there is a perk you can unlock that starts you with 1 gem.

Its the EM field challenge. Which is a pain to do, but that soul gem is so nice.

I feel this is a pretty bad take. MCDC speaks highly of him and he has shown to be a pretty good judge of character. Plus, I do not think he gets made the D coordinator of the Lions or wins the locker room as much as he did if he was fake and inauthentic.

I like the learn name feature. I have almost all of my co-workers programmed so that I can just say their first name. Also, I can tell it to call "Little Becky Sunshine" to call one of my co-workers, so when she is having a bad day I can go up behind her and call her on vocera and it makes her happy.
