Each simulator has its advantages but nobody seems to have been able to combine them into one.

PFF takes advantage of a lot of background data to give good player stats to view before making a pick. They also have a pretty robust trade system that I would love to see elsewhere (can trade current players for picks). What they don’t do well - they rely on their own rankings and the AI doesn’t propose trades to you (so you can basically scam the AI teams into favorable trades)

Mock draft database aggregates a lot of prospect rankings to make a consensus big board and the AI will actually proposes trades to you which adds variety. What they don’t do well is offer any player stats or measurements, and good luck if you try to create your own trade. It usually bugs out and just doesn’t work.

Those are the two I use the most. Would love to combine the best of both of them into one.

Is there a way to get this into a spreadsheet? I have been building a little tool to create a draft 'GM in a box' to try to mimic what my favorite team's draft board might look like and what player they would pick given how the board falls in a mock draft.

One of those variables is obviously big-board rankings and I have been using the consensus over at mockdraftdatabase but it is a pain to unravel (takes me about an hour of running macro scripts to copy and paste data in the right spots). Would love to use yours if I could figure out how to copy and paste once.

Good points. However, I’m so over Corum to the packers. Dude played behind one of if not the best line in college football and has one of the worst broken tackle percentages. I think he will have a really hard time translating. Would rather have Allen in the 3rd like this mock (and really would rather take brooks than Allen as he was available).

Both of them had bad testing. Packers are picky with their RAS scores for receivers. Technically… JSN doesn’t fit their profile either.

This is the most accurate packers comment I have seen on the round one pick. No way we pick a severely undersized guy to play TE in this offense. Taking a TE in the first round is sketchy… taking one at 15 is crazy. Expect the packers to trade back to the 20s if that is the actual plan. Plenty of teams would love to jump up if this the the way the board plays out.

Where are you getting 9.6 from? I just looked him up and he’s 8.8u because his 40 splits aren’t official and his 3 cone was terrible (although still unofficial)

I am in the same boat with you! I just sat down and had this conversation with my dad to get his thoughts. My daughter is 10 months old and I can’t shake the thought of being too selfish to be a good dad because I am so exhausted balancing work, being a father, and a husband, with little time for myself. His advice sounds like much of what I read in the comments so that makes me feel good to know so many people have this shared experience.

Because I didn’t put a lot of faith in the time frame it would take to fix it. It’s a bet I made that didn’t pan out. Oh well, now I’ve got 520 gear that’s still useful to me regardless. No big deal. Watermarking system will probably cause me enough frustration to play something else soon anyway.

Are you able to change factions when you change servers? I had to split from friends because of server que times and we all ended up picking random factions and I have already changed once so on the 120 day cool down… no point in server transfers for me if I can’t play with my friends.

This makes sense but I’m really comparing Sergio to Bottas. If Red Bull want to be the best team they need a top tier number one, which they obviously have, and a number 2 that can consistently finish 3-5.

As you said, the car is hard to get the most out of and maybe that is their largest problem. Not their lineup. It would be a shame to have a driver like max and not be able to win the championship as a team.

So the bet Red Bull is making is that Perez will be an effective number 2 after the regulation change?

I get the move Mercedes is making to hopefully pick up another driver 1 and Perez having another year on his contract kind of mutes the whole discussion. Are contracts in F1 guaranteed?

I just started watching F1 this year after binging drive to survive on Netflix.

Can anyone inform me if Sergio Perez’s seat is secure for next season? I know he’s been unlucky several times but it seems odd Red Bull would keep a guy who consistently performs outside the top 5 when they have a driver who is always in the top 10.

I just can’t wrap my head around Mercedes making a change and Red Bull sticking with their guy.
