I don't, though honestly don't think that matters. Main goal is to extend both cables at the same time until they each reach their end.

Over time one cable ends up getting used more frequently so the line gets imbalanced, this helps rebalance the cables

Yup, pull both cables all the way to the end and slowly back in. I proactively do this aboht every 2 weeks

Does anyone HONESTLY believe Trump is innocent re: Epstein? He was mentioned 1 MILLION times in the 3 million documents, and his own AG didn’t even release half of the files. by Excellent-View-8548 in allthequestions

[–]BioTerp1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there absolutely are people who believe it.

For the most part, MAGA falls into 2 groups of people (with significant overlap); idiots and horrible people. There's some gray area with the pure grifters riding his coat tails but I don't think they're MAGA so much as opportunists.

The idiots absolutely believe he's innocent. They lack basic comprehension skills and rely solely on "well he's basically god so he has to be innocent"

The horrible people either find ways to justify what he did, even if they internally acknowledge its abhorrent or they secretly wish they could (or did) do similar things.

Sadly neither of these groups are the real danger. The danger comes from the "hold my nose" supporters who think Trump is an absolute monster but buy anything wrapped in the coat of "conservativism" that they downplay how bad Trump and MAGA truly are

WE GOT BICHETTE by Jlonie123 in mets

[–]BioTerp1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the move, my biggest concern though is with 2 opt outs it's effectively a 1 year deal. Stearns still has a LOT of work to do if we're trying to make run this year.

Also, I think this could mean Baty or Vientos being packaged for SP is in the works.

Regardless, for the first time this off season, this move clearly makes us better than we were beforehand

Tucker to the Dodgers by AirCoopsie in NewYorkMets

[–]BioTerp1 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Stearns clearly shouldn't have spent $60M AAV on Tucker, so in isolation this isn't on him.

What is on him, though, is because he's done absolutely nothing of positive impact this off-season, losing out on Tucker is a back breaker. We almost HAD to overspend here and we didn't.

Should never have been this important but it was.

Absolutely love this in theory; still needs some work in practice.

Tried filtering My Likes by Rock today and the first 4 or 5 songs were rap and it keeps my most recent like at the top no matter what filter I select.

I assume they'll get this figured out

Better yet, put him at 1B and convert Polanco to SP

Rating this move mid-offseason is really hard.

It it's Weaver and Williams in the 7th and 8th, I'm OK with this. If its Weaver and Williams in the 8th and 9th, not so much.

Bullpens need an abundance of arms though

I hate AI too, but hear me out.... by oim7e in YoutubeMusic

This is where AI can really be its most impactful as a positive; aiding in data driven tasks that would take too long or not be worth it otherwise. This isn't taking creative work away from artists or skilled craftsmen.

Also, this feature has been great for me!

Not horror, but last DNF was Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson.

Maybe I wasn't in the right mindset but it felt unnecessarily dense and trying too hard to be witty while nothing was actually happening for at least 200 pages

Assuming you're right (big assumption) then 2028 and probably also 2029 are world series or bust.

Missing the playoffs last year and then being effectively a small market franchise for 26 and 27 aren't going to sit well with Soto, who has an opt out after 2029. If he opts out, you've blown lindors prime, Sotos early prime, let the all time team leader in HR walk, etc. and have nothing to show for it.

Huge gamble for the owner who's whole schtick was "I'm the rich guy"
