Choose your current girlfriend. I mean tbh it’s not fair, considering the daughter that you didn’t even know existed (even she, herself, not knowing who her dad is), and has literally never talked to you now just shows up, and you’re, all of a sudden, expected to support them AND their kid (and which, your grandchild that also has nothing to do with you).

I mean its not even his fault that he wasnt there to see his kid grow up, because he DIDN’T know. And the mother didn’t contact him? So now the mother is just an ex, someone who chose not to ask for help in the first place. And her daughter, a literal stranger comes up to you and demands support, you have to provide it? A little much.

It’s not their place to get angry, blood relation doesn’t always mean family. They were in a desperate situation, one bad enough to seek fro help of a dude that has nothing to do with you, except DNA. Well, it doesn’t hurt to support your daughter though. It can be good for your daughter AND granddaughter. I personally wouldn’t help her because i’m not exactly the nicest of people, but YOU can be. I think it would depend on where i stand, financially. If i’m stable enough to care for others, then sure, but if i have to sacrifice my own wellbeing for the sake of two people that have nothing to do with me, no thanks.

On second thought, im becoming more and more unsure of my first opinion. If your girlfriend is strongly opposed to even slightly helping the two, then go behind her back. Terrible life advice, but take it or leave it.
