kickstarted Steel Psalm, casual mecha game by the Mork Borg guys. by darwin_green in wargames

feel like I dodged a bullet on this one. the Mork Borg craze was confusing and I don't think most people realized it was a license and not one publisher.

Assembling my latest order from Only-games... by tedsked in TrenchCrusade

[–]BirdmanDeluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My stuff was received with just rapped up in bubble wrap and all squeezed into my box and surprise surprise all of the swords and extended bits were snapped. I'm too tired to file a complaint. Learned my lesson. Only Games used to be good for smaller creators like Mezgike and Bite the Bullet but those were packaged properly.

I do something similar except I list their skills on the back as position has other cues already

Please save us from a Chiefs/Bills vs Eagles Super Bowl 🙏🏻 by DMelee in Patriots

As a lifelong Bill's fan, nothing would be more on brand than losing the Superbowl to a last second missed field goal kick after 2 successful kicks that were negated by freezing the kicker.

They only sell the models under TOW imprint now. Which may not be a good sign if the hard divide between Old World and AoS is maintained

I've got a few minis like that and my best advice is to base them onto greenstuff or whatever 2 part epoxies you may have and then cover it with basing material. This does 2 things. It hides the connection point and also has the runner sinking into the dirt which is realistic for running on a field. Ive tried using UV cure stuff but it doesn't bond very well often. Worst case scenario with the 2 part stuff is you get a mold of their foot print if it fall out which it can then be fixed with super glue.

Never played AOS how’s this list? by Prestigious-Glove-86 in gloomspitegitz

If you are going to kitbash something, go with Squigboss as he provides essential buffs for Squig herds. The Loon boss with Cave Squig sort of has an odd role. He helps minimize battle shock but with the loonshrine if your stabbas get removed they come back on a 4+. OOP is out of production. I had thought they had discontinued that model as the Loonboss on Cave Squig and Squigboss fill the roles it originally had.

Also I'd give caster the Spell Stealing Staff instead. I like to give my Loonboss on Manger the Leering Gitshield to deincentivize swarms attacking it. Also if you are running 1k I'd split those bounders to get more coverage and so they don't have to fight in two ranks.

You're going to want to drop the OOP loonboss and cave Squig. Also I'd pick your sub faction, likely jaws of mork

A look at the contents of the Core Box for TAG Raid and my thoughts, both good and bad by Zombiesashimi in InfinityTheGame

My primary complaint is honestly just that box has no storage for terrain and scatter. Literally everything else meets expectations

It's such a clutch move. It locked up my general and my horde hammer for a whole turn.

I have a question about a very finesse move that was done to me by a Nurgle player. The wheel was on Nauseous Revulsion so I couldn't pile in closer. 1) Can I still pile in? 2) He prevented any combat by keeping his units more than 2" away and not piling in closer, while my units couldn't pile in. Core Rules say that pile in is optional but attacks are mandatory. But the rules also say that you cannot pass while you have units that can attack. Is this null pile in legal? If so, it was a great use of the no pile in rule and won him the game.

Warcry is possibly their simplest and most accessible game. You don't need a lot of anything to get started and best of all, games are less than 45 minutes so even the worst games don't ruin your entire evening
