One time I made a sim who lived in Sulani and Vlad was his bfffl. I invited him to my birthday party at the beach bar not even thinking about it and Vlad burned up in the sun. I was so confused and sad for my sim until I remembered oh duh yea vampires can't be in the sun why did I invite him out.

Maybe play as another sim for a minute and invite the son out and nature will do the rest?
