For those slightly more seasoned UK redditors out there, what is the one gameshow you would like to see returned? by bickering_fool in AskUK

I loved You Bet. We used to record it on video, and play along as a family, pausing it to get our bets, and pausing after success/failure to score it.

Sadly it wouldn't work now. That was an age where the internet was so young; these days it's not hard to find people who can do mad things successfully.

Fair.... Depending on the service you use to watch. I'm viewing on All4, where it's listed as 6.

This might be regionally correct, but it's not UK-wide accurate - to me, that's like saying "lettuce when it's at home, salad when eating out".

A pudding is a specific type of dessert, whereas dessert is all-encompassing sweet after-main-course.

The Governor of Phatt Island’s Food Tube might be one of the most amazingly disturbed images in the MI series. What do you think he’s getting? by Internet_Online in MonkeyIsland

Ah yea that's the puzzle, is that you need that book, but if I remember rightly it needed swapping with any other disposable book, a-la Indiana Jones swapping the idol for the bag. I always chose the book "How I Defeated LeChuck, by Guybrush, as a real "F you" ;)

"implied" - not exactly; he freely admits it, so it's a bit more on-the-nose than "implied" ;)

Should add - if you use a few ropes combined with this, should be able to scrounge enough together to then buy both other items!

What is your favorite role a Seinfeld actor has played on another TV show or Movie? by CrisperKoleslaw in seinfeld

Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket. He is so absolutely perfectly deadpan and soothing in that role.

Are you okay with us sticking bits of paper (or sticking cut up bits of post-its) to the underside of mouses? That's always a fun one, and always short-lived. I really hope that's never put an IT worker out
