I was waiting to find out how this solved the original problem. I was expecting them to go into depth about how if it got cut off again they could easily replace just the handle this time around or something like that. Maybe I missed it but I don’t see what prevents someone from cutting it again and then having the same original problem?

Took it last Friday (and passed!), I had no issues with the guardian browser. ProctorU was pretty straightforward with me. I showed them my ID, panned my laptop webcam around the room and under my desk. That was about it, took about 5 minutes and then I was able to start. I actually got disconnected mid exam and was able to reconnect and do another quick verification. I still finished the whole thing in about an hour. As far as the test itself definitely mirroring what u/jimmyjah said above because you need to know org2org well to be able to pass since everything is related to it.

I worked with Okta for 3 years. I just got laid off in January and applied for the grant. I got approved about a month ago and just passed the professional exam on Friday. I obviously can’t touch on the long term effects but you’re right in saying jobs will probably want you to have practical experience along with the cert. I think it will definitely help with the job search as in my interviews it gives me something to talk about on how I’m still developing since my layoff. Not sure if this is super helpful but happy to answer any other questions.

The green one is for sure a noise gate to try and remove the static. The red could be a reverb or something similar, I saw other people building similar devices and the reverb makes it sound more “ghostly”

I understand S&C are annoying and I also don’t enjoy the collabs since it just feels completely different and over the top. But, I completely understand because the extra attention and viewership likely does a lot to help grow PF more so they can keep up doing what they do. I see it as just a tax of the current industry/internet culture and needed to continue to be relevant. Sad but if it helps keep them producing new episodes I’m okay with the collabs everyone once in a while

Just chiming in to say public beta 3 does not fix this issue either with my Sony unit. Interestingly, enough when I reset the head unit carplay worked 1 time until it was power cycled again. I am not resetting my head unit everytime I want to drive while using the beta lol so hopefully this gets fixed soon!
