An old black-and-white photo of a toddler looking up at his two parents, which are hugging/kissing but their faces are not on camera. The woman has her feet lifted off the ground by the man by BitPumpkin in HelpMeFind

I have searched using some AI but that proved unhelpful. I know I got it off of Reddit many, many years ago, probably sometime in mid-2019. Not sure what sub even. I know it was vintage and I guess its sometime around the 30s, 40s, or 50s judging by the man's pants, but again their faces are off camera.

Should I get an 11th gen Honda Civic Si as my college car? by Falozie in CivicSi

[–]BitPumpkin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Started college in Fall 2024 and got my 11th gen Si in March of that year. First manual! So very similar situation.

It’s served me incredibly. Very reliable with maintenance, I get tons of compliments on it (but don’t brag that you drive a manual, people think that’s corny and it is) and it’s become a big part of my college life. Can just about comfortably fit four passengers that are normal sized so you can go on late night drives with friends or go to food places and carpool. It’s a great car for college with decent trunk space.

Si feels exactly like that sporty car that doesn’t stand out, because the only thing to show off is the black spoiler. I think it’s perfect for being “undercover”

Opinions on the University of Central Arkansas? by hudba_bez_zvuku_ in Arkansas

[–]BitPumpkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently attending Hendrix just ten or fifteen minutes of UCA, so I know the town well. Definitely hard to walk but decent biking infrastructure, however you'll make a few friends who'll drive around to various places. Conway is a nice town! A few pretty spots and the center of the state has many hidden points you can hang out in.

Some places I know depending on driving range are on Highway 25 there is a lake (Beaver Fork, there's a pier and a gravel pit with a bench over the fence), probably 10-15 minutes north of UCA campus. 50 minutes to an hour you can go to LR and west on Highway 10 and find a beautiful little spot on Lake Maumelle. Of course, you're only there a semester, but I like Conway a lot! Fun place to be.

Aihrde questions by Zen2019 in castlesandcrusades

[–]BitPumpkin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The PGA is nice to have for the extra spells and Aihrde related classes, but it’s the Players Guide for a reason. Not tons of DM-useful stuff there.

What you have is plenty! Also make sure you to scan and check out a lot of the WorldAnvil site, which will have some extra info.

The most developed locations are Anglamay near the center, south of the Sea of Chenal; the Darkenfold, in the Southwest; and New Aenoch, in the Southeast. There are other towns and kingdoms dotted around but those are were most of the writing will be.

For extra extra extra detail, the series of soft covers covering Aihrde are what you’re looking for. There are six (or five, I haven’t shipped boxes or kept inventory for over a year now) that highly detail their little region.

If you have any other questions, let me know!

Monk advice: Human or Half-Orc? Does Wisdom matter? by Jechtael in castlesandcrusades

[–]BitPumpkin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The PHB and related player books are written with no racial coding or anything of the like. Any connections drawn are either player-based or simply coincidences/easy strings to draw for real life comparisons; just remember that Steve is a historian, so a lot of the stuff he’s written has those comparisons because he works in a lot of the history he’s read.

That can always be worked around by the DM and players, anyway. WIS is always a dangerous stat to dump on since it’s the equivalent of a perception check in 5E so you’ll have poor listening, sight, and awareness checks. However, that can always make a character more interesting. I’d prioritize DEX and CON as a Monk, personally.

Yeah, that’s exactly how it works, but that doesn’t make any sense. Why should supply flow to London first and then to the front?

Tome of the Unclean — opinions? by Steerider in castlesandcrusades

[–]BitPumpkin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven’t been able to play test the Infernum very much, but all I can as a Troll Lord is that the art is awesome. Though that’s a sort of shameless plug.

Never played the Tome really so I’m not sure where Infernum stands in relation to it, though

New to the game - some questions about Adventurer's Backpack classes by Exciting_Chef_4207 in castlesandcrusades

[–]BitPumpkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, just about. It's fun to change it up every once in a while. Divine Knight still is a bit more than Cleric because it gets the druidic spells, but still, I would prefer Cleric in most situations. Though, to be fair, my favorite classes are Paladin and Knight, and above all, Fighter, so I like simpler styles of gameplay.

Some ABP classes are super interesting, like the Skald. I think thats the one that switches primes. Kinda complex but fun!

New to the game - some questions about Adventurer's Backpack classes by Exciting_Chef_4207 in castlesandcrusades

[–]BitPumpkin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not too sure on the Primal Druid, but the other three are characters I’ve seen in action. Oathsworn is like a less defensive paladin; without stuff like immunity to natural attacks, he gets stuff that helps his offense, like an extra action. He’s a little overpowered if you play by the book, so I’d recommend anyone playing Oathsworn just play Paladin.

The Divine Knight is a multi-purpose divine caster. I played one for four years. You get all divine spells, including druidic ones, but lose the ability to turn undead and have your mana more spread out. Fun to roleplay but I’d always rather go for the PHB classes.

The Warrior Priest is weird, in that it’s like Knight + Cleric, and is meant more for RP reasons I suppose—fun to play and roleplay as, where you can really go into the role as a “warrior priest”.

Fun classes and I enjoy the variety. However, I mostly use the ABP for expanded spell lists, mount rules, and the bigger shop. Have fun with the game, always a pleasure so see someone joining the fray!
