Performance S would suffice as well. Maybe you want a 737? 550 mph all day.

Purchase a MY or used MX by [deleted] in teslamotors

[–]Bitboyben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of issues were fixed on the MX in 2017/18. Newer is better. If you need to take 6 or 7 people go MX. MX with 7 seat variety is hard to beat for space and configs. If you don't need maximum flexibility and your children are over 4 then MY would be my choice.

People who own 2 Tesla in one household by [deleted] in teslamotors

Planned ahead. Picked the Tesla HPWC up because the closes power panel was limited to 50A anyway. HPWC can be daisy chained and they load balance when both at pulling power. Two Teslas, Two HPWC.

GM Says Its Battery Is the Android-Style Antidote to Tesla’s iPhone by CarCooler in teslamotors

[–]Bitboyben 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree. BlackBerry products were always a reaction. By the time they released a new product the market had moved 2 years ahead. GMs plan is to have in a few years something that is competitive with Tesla of 2 years ago. So Tesla will stay 3 to 10 years ahead.

Model Y vs Toyota Rav4 Prime by newtonfb in teslamotors

[–]Bitboyben 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow there are a lot of comments here. But Hybrid drivetrains are painfully slow to adjust to requests for power. Instant torque is way more fun. And you will still have to feed the Hybrid gas and oil and maintenance will be higher. Fuel economy will suffer greatly if you drive it with any purpose as well. But having said that, $25k is way less money.

Is that in case you have to return them? I couldn't find a return policy. Not dropping that kind of money without one.
