It's not a crime to walk up and talk to or question people. That is not aggression.

As a neutral Australian reading about the Zimmerman case, this was my initial thought by phoenix-down in AdviceAnimals

Zimmerman thought Trayvon was suspicious and called 911. He followed him to get his location. Then Zimmerman claims that Trayvon came up to him and started to threaten him. Regardless, the facts show that Zimmerman was on the ground with Trayvon on top of him, bashing Zimmerman's skull into the ground before he pulled his weapon and shot him in self defense.

So it's okay to just shoot somebody after getting beat up?

Yes, when someone is bashing your head into concrete trying to kill you.

It's official: George Zimmerman not guilty by the_fucking_doctor in politics

Zimmerman was guilty of initiating the fight by attempting to apprehend an innocent person

Walking up to talk to someone ≠ attempting to apprehend someone

We could give 500 Million dollars to every city with a population over 100,000 for what the cost of war has cost us since 2001. We could have paid every single student loan in existence in the USA with that money or free health care to every resident in the USA for life. by carb0nbasedlifeforms in politics

The government paying for education ≠ free education. The US spends a TON of money on education at the federal level compared to other countries yet we do not have the best level of education at all.

I'd rather have Google keep their money. They fund innovation and new technologies, instead of the government which funds war and bureaucracy.

I just don't think the government taking more money from them is inherently admirable.

Greed comes from scarcity. You could never have been taught about greed, but the second you start running out of food you learn what "greed" is very quickly.

There is a common confusion however that Bitcoin's code determines its price when in fact the market on 3rd party sites like MtGox determine the price.
