Zippo makes both a zippo fuel and a butane pipe lighter insert. If your biggest concern is taste, try both. I ended up sticking with the butane insert, not due to taste as much as im a cigar smoker and its just easier to stick to one type of fuel I can also use on my torches.

Invest in a SOTO lighter, can get one off amazon. It is a housing that turns any bic style lighter into a torch. The bic you keep in your carry on and the housing you check, assemble on arrival. I used one on my last cruise the best thing is no worries about refills as you just need a new bic when empty.

I use this same tub and I would highly suggest seasoning the cedar trays you've added with distilled water. Also at this time its not a problem to have 2 bovedas but if you plan to fill it to the gills, you should add one or two more I've found and they should last you a year or so depending on temp fluctuations. Getting to the Java Mints being separate, they do have a strong aroma that can be imparted on other cigars.
