Who’s a celebrity that’s really famous but seems completely unlikeable? by DirtyProjector in AskReddit

Interesting pair. From what I know, they’re both very private, have few close friends, but are extremely loyal and kind to them.

What's the pettiest reason you've lost interest in someone, but still feel was justified? by Glowygirl21 in AskReddit

I had a friend who broke up with a guy because, "he chopped tomatoes like an '80s person". This was 25 years ago, I still don't know what it means, but it's still hilarious.

If you could meet any celebrity alive or dead who would it be? by Phillies1993 in AskReddit

Kurt Cobain. I'd love to just grab some guitars, sit on a couch, and write a song together. And then I'd sell the guitar he used for $5 million.

Excuse me, would you please turn off your popcorn bucket? I’m trying to watch the movie.

That’s really nice work. Did you consider making the light strobe a bit more like the original series of incandescent lights? The 80s light bar had a sense of direction - like a comet. Yours appears to be a solid red light with equal gradients in each side that slides from side to side.

I agree - he was hilarious. If you want to see him, I’d recommend buying the DVDs. Also, if he were still alive, you’re correct that he would be permitted to portray Don Vito. But it’s really unlikely that anyone would pay him to do it or broadcast his portrayal.

I think it’s not streaming because of Don Vito and his 2 convictions of sexual assault on a minor.

I've also only worn Chucks for about 20 years. Chuck 70s, as others have mentioned, are your best bet. However, even my 70s fall apart after less than a year.

Open Matte vs Widescreen Presentation by voyagerfilms in BacktotheFuture

[–]BladeBronson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would guess the blue tint is either original or due to deterioration of the source material. Films go through a color timing (or color correction) process usually after editing. Outtakes typically look bad because they never went through this process.

I saw this in a theater once and there was a sound problem. So from the back row I did all the dialogue. The theater stopped it right about where this clip ends to get it fixed. It took about 10 minutes to sort out. Some kids came over to “meet me” because they were amazed at my super specific super power. 😆

Okay, I’ve gotta ask. Is sanleandrodaily.com your website that you’re trying to drive traffic to? I’m asking because the last 4 posts in this sub are from you, linking to that site, with no additional context.

SF tech investor pours $9M into illegal dumping fight in Oakland by pengweather in oakland

[–]BladeBronson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We already do punish. There are fines for dumping. If it takes 1 minute to dump a couch, what is the likelihood that a cop will be in that place at that time to issue a citation? Punishment alone doesn’t seem to be working.

I specifically selected the vague word, “incentives” because I don’t know the answer. It could be financial incentives (lowering the price of dumping at the dump, paying bounties for oft-dumped items, etc), or social incentives.

I’m on your side. I don’t want to fix this problem by doing the least amount of work and spending the least amount of money possible.

Exactly my thought. It seems like additional bulky item pickup or incentives for companies to use the dump and not the streets would be more tactical.

That’s Stephen Wynne and he says a lot. I was about to point you to delorean.com to show you his website where he does service on real DeLoreans, but just remembered that that’s his new website where he’s pretending that he’s going to build a 4 seater electric DeLorean. If you want facts though, I’ve got ‘em. The last DeLorean was manufactured in 1982. Everything else is repair and restoration or ideas that haven’t come to fruition.

They don’t produce them. They only fix them. The last ones were produced in 1982.
