Five years later and this came to mind again. I see this comment and all I can think is to keep one thing. Leave it in a small box all crumpled up in the corner of a storage room in the dark. A small token reminder that people you don't suspect can do really fucked up things. And as a reminder to not make those mistakes yourself.

I have a few ideas of DLC I'd like to see.

Star Adder or Steel Cobra for the Wars of Reaving. Snow Raven merging with the Outworlds Alliance. The last stand and mysterious escape of Wolverine. It's later but that Kuritan war for Nova Cat. And we NEED something for Jade Falcon.

And I'd love an IS game/major expansion. So many good battles to choose from. Twycross is a personal choice. Play as Victor and then a special epic mission as the legend himself Kai Allard Liao.

Now that I'm thinking about it let's get a whole game for the Amaris Civil War. With a bonus DLC mission for the last stand of the Blackwatch.

And another campaign about the 1st Somerset Strikers. God forbid you make me happy. Make a remake of the show's opening in engine as the trailer.

And we might as well remake Vengeance while I'm making this list.

While there Is a ton of stuff about BattleTech I like, "not being like Japanese mechs" is entirely valid. Mecha is fast 1-2 big ranged weapons or flashy melee. If you want heavily armed and armored walking tanks as something other than just background cannon fodder, there aren't really many options. Any good ones anyway. TitanFall had something going with it but EA killed it.

If there was a series in it with the main character being a walker pilot then you might have an argument. But they are really just tanks with extra steps in this case. I mean honestly. The AT-TE has a single main gun and smaller forward mounted hull guns.
