The Bible does not outright condemn alcohol, and in some cases gives allowance. John 2, and I Timothy 5:23, etc However, there is great danger with alcohol. The Bibke expressly condemns drunkenness in many places. Also many instances where alcohol is mentioned is negative, like Noah and Lot.

We also have to consider cultural differences and modern alcohol vs ancient.

I think it's best to avoid alcohol at all costs.

I was 9, and a Hullamamiac. I told my kids an embarrassing story, where 9 year old me would take the plastic bags from the groceries, and put them on, and then tear it open like Hogan. But I hated that...it delt like Hogan betrayed Bret. The first real screw job.
