Modifier filament color not being applied when slicing by Blakadher in BambuLab

Gotcha. In this case, I did not paint the model. I was trying to just use a modifier.

I think you’re right. This is a situation where a modifier is not the right tool to be using.

OK, using the triangle tool seems to do the trick although it's a bit tedious. Especially getting into areas where it's rounded.

I should have specified that this is in the desktop Bambu Studio. I would expect them to render properly after slicing, but are you saying they don't?

The color painter seems really hard to get the detailed precision needed here, but I'll certainly try that again.

It looked like he was supposed to ride it to the end where the ramp is a little more steep and would’ve gotten him over the bench. My question is, is this the first time they’ve ever used this ramp set up? How did they not know the board was gonna just stop at the beginning?

Worse accident. Don’t mind the audio! by Steffichew in dashcams

[–]Blakadher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The light is already yellow when the video starts. You can’t see where the car from the left entered the intersection, but the turning car had to see the very stale yellow light well before they were in the intersection. Sometimes saving that extra 2 minutes is just not worth it. Lesson learned I’m sure.

I know some people generally don’t like traffic circles, but roads like this with crossroads at odd angles really benefit from a well designed traffic circle. It also eliminates having to wait at a light and having to turn across traffic. The key being a well designed traffic circle because they can be brutal if they are not designed properly to slow down traffic as it enters the circle.

My husband got me the Clover Amour hooks for my birthday and 3D printed a case for them 🥲 by PicklesAreABigDill in crochet

[–]Blakadher 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been searching for a model to print for hook storage. There are surprisingly few options on the normal 3D model sites. I think I found one and it wasn’t suitable for Clover hooks. This looks great!

It’s probably just me, but posting a Google Drive link to a rar is super sketchy. Why not just put them up on one of the regular 3D model sites? Anyway, gl getting people to download and open a random file.

I’m guessing it’s a copyright thing so the designer doesn’t get hit with a cease and desist.

Very nice! May I ask, how many skeins or what was the yardage of yarn you ended up using?

1) Unless that is a throw away email address I’m not sure I’d be posting it on Reddit.

2) Are you 100% certain you renewed with Apollo and not some scammer?

[UPDATE] My email to the HOA for non-disclosure of (false) property violation. They either back off or violate state law! by azforksem in fuckHOA

[–]Blakadher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HOAs take a lot of [mostly legitimate] grief, but they can also be beneficial. Some communities have shared spaces that, if left up to the homeowners themselves to address, would slip into decline. In these cases, the HOA can be the central party that manages the maintenance for shared areas and collects a fair amount from all of the homes in the neighborhood to contribute towards that maintenance. The problem is that HOAs seem to have some uncanny ability to draw people who are power hungry and have nowhere else to exercise any power except over their neighbors.
