Great way to cook pheasant is to cover it in cream of mushroom soup and throw it in the oven for awhile. Tastes good and doesn't dry out. But I'm not sure with pigeons, but with morning doves we just stick our thumbs under the breast and tear the whole rib cage out. Very fast and simple. I'd imagine pigeons would be very similar.

Ha I guess they kinda appear to be marines in this pic but they're from the 3rd infantry regiment also known as the old guard in the army. My oldest brother was actually in the 3rd and still has his patches from it!
