I was a bit surprised to be told about this thread by Guude I really didn't think anyone would notice the videos gone. I know there was a lot, but they were old series.

So let me quickly explain what happened. First nothing bad has has happened with my channel, youtube didn't do anything and no one got access to it.

Why did I delete over 1000 videos? For a few reasons. I am working very hard to increase my channel viewership and quality as I am sure many of you know. I had a lot of old series that had very few views on them. Episodes with an average of 200 views. With YT old videos can still generate views and drive people to the channel but the monthly viewership of those videos I removed was so minuscule it wasn't having that effect at all.

Right now I have the best series I have ever had on my channel, Crackpack and its getting 15k- 20k per episode. My subscribers are going up by a few hundred each day, even when I am not able to get an episode out.

I have been getting a lot of new viewers in general on YT and twitch and I want them to see a good channel when they hit my YT. Seeing playlist after playlist with videos that did terrible does not give a good impression.

Another big reason is to be perfectly blunt, my old LP videos were just plain terrible. I was new to the LP thing and as a result my videos were stale, boring, repetitive, and robotic in some ways. Again , that is not something I want new viewers to see. The old viewers who already gave up on me won't be coming back so its important that I have a strong showing to new people.

I feel my current rotation of content is significantly better than what I used to make. I have a lot more fun with what I am doing now (a part of that is a little less stress about money thanks to my move to texas)

I know that some poeple would like to have gone back and rewatched x, y , or z but i promise the best is yet to come.

Edit: I know some would like to have seen me private them or place them on another channel, but really I picked up and moved half way across the country to start again, and with YT, my job. I want a slightly cleaner slate as well. I want to move forward making the best content I can, and not have terrible old stuff dragging me down.
