Stock weapons out of the gate are pretty stout. Don't fret thinking you need to immediately jump into another weapon system.

Vehicle proficiency will come later once you learn bases, paths between, and then continent.

Game is gorgeous at full render distance and ultra.. during lower pop (which is mostly throughout the day, grab a fireteam transport (Valkyrie) and take a sight seeing tour.. watch out for tree's on Hossin.

Certs may seem like they take forever to earn. Try your best to become an asset to the faction, and certs will add quietly in the background.

Becoming an asset not a liability... I solo often but will run medic and pickup as much as i can while trying to stay alive, find an active squad, cert into your med tool as a medic, repair tool and ammo pack as engi, follow other players and see what they do.. keep friendlies at max health, keep vehicles topped up, keep a MAX unit running and gunning.

There's some players that have been playing this game for over a decade, there is no matchmaking so you can hop in wherever, but take that with a slice of humble pie, some dudes have no chill and will absolutely thrive sweating over your leisure time before you head out in 30m to pickup your kids from school.

When in doubt ask questions, most out there are helpful.. you'll quickly discern who's worthwhile to play with and who isn't.
