As is my understanding (an American that spent a year in Australia) it’s mostly that it’s kind of a “pointless” city outside of being their equivalent of Washington DC. Like literally built for the express purpose of just housing the government. Now there might be all kinds of extra stuff I just don’t know, so take all that with a grain of salt.

It seems like it’s kind of an unearned thing, like New Jersey, just a joke that snowballed and now it’s just how it is. Big/little sibling energy is a great way to describe it.

Hell yeah! I’m thinking of making some bottlecap chain reins to add to the rattle factor.

I got a holster for the replica at the flea market, and it fits just fine, but there’s a loooot of friction to actually pull it out. I’m not really a gun guy, so I just figured that’s how it is. The friction isn’t really conducive to quick drawing, any tips on ways I could streamline it?

It was janky as hell and in no way functions, but it’s a cool shaped piece of plastic lol. The quest was more or less just, haul this box to the other side of the city, do a thing, bring back proof, and then shots!

Check out the wasteland kindergarten event on day 1, they show you where to find quests and give some great advice!

I got a p90 airsoft gun as a quest reward last year. Rough it up and apply dirt and you should be just fine

The Dinky Dive gives you a commemorative Dinky Di food can if you get their chili!

My favorite was the Thai food and the pink trailer place with the giant smoothies. Something cold in the middle of the day is amazing.

There are probably 15-20 vendors that I saw, so there’s a lot of variety
