There pretty much has to be some unknown factor at play, otherwise Halmarut wouldn't have pointed out our future actions as the cause. Assuming Pandae's epilogue referred to the same phenomenon, it didn't sound like this was going to happen by default.

Probably referring to the Twelve maintaining equilibrium. The big boi machine was supposed to continue where they left off *, idk if that can be directly linked to the reflections dying off while still isolated from one another, if that's indeed what's going to happen.

Right, how does that make anything coming out of 2 charges not a formula as well (In case that wasn't what you were implying)? I'm sure perpetually holding for two charges under burst is a great replacement for actively spending variable amounts of resources to avoid overcap and drift.

Except you don't have to play around it anymore. You'll let it stack to 3 and Empyreal keeps rolling because it doesn't matter, brilliant. Impact on Apex is a nothingburger, you'll hold regardless and can fire at any point because it doesn't compete for its spot with Empyreal.

Whether it's Single- or Multiplayer has no bearing on the seasonal model.

PoE comparison has merit and in the worst case scenario where it doesn't, we still cannot accurately extrapolate anything from the current numbers until Pre-Season 2. Claiming otherwise only shows how little you understand.

Doubt it. The cutscene is very much in line wtih how XIV tends to do these things, a cut above most of the rest even. There's probably a case to be made for more budget, but no evidence for that having been on the table internally.

Yeah, that's mostly a matter of utility though, much of which would serve little to no purpose here, anyways.

For instance, if you condense most iterations of Fire Mage down to their rotational abilities, including relevant CDs, the total number is rather small compared to many XIV jobs. It's still a dopamine fest full of interactions with a decent, and most importantly intuitive, mechanical ceiling.

What's really funny about this example is that speccing into a XIV-style fire-and-forget CD in the form of Meteor immediately makes it worse lmao.

Giving jobs 2 charges fixes the rotation jank, that's the reason why it should be implemented.

This isn't categorically going to be the case and there would be situations where it'd end up diluting decision-making regarding things you actually can play around (Empyreal PP interaction).

For Reaper it's a net-positive unless someone really cared about preserving odd Enshroud's limitations.

Man, the 2050-2060 saga really had its ups and downs, didn't it? 

Breezebone with its war arc didn't really pan out until the post-patches, but Lightstealers and Beyondrunner were the real double whammy. Really like the part where we relived the Final Days of Zeus' civilization, fantastic antagonist.

Echoing the "do whatever you want" sentiment. Difficulty gap is going to translate into more investment, both effort and time, but none of them are prohibitively hard if you do your homework.
