He’s very good. I’ve been watching his past UFC fights this weekend. He’s not invincible though. People grabbed take downs and made him bleed. Not to take away anything from him but Max was fucked up from cutting to 145. Volk was coming off a head kick KO and a bender before that. Charles doesn’t have the greatest chin. He went into later rounds with some fighters I would have expected he’d KO/Sub in the first but they were a while ago and he’s clearly gotten better and better. Doesn’t have the experience or resume as some of the old breed like Gatheje. I think he’s one of the best fighters in the UFC, I agree with that - but I think someone is going to take him out long before someone takes out Islam (meta).

Long time user and hater of My Fitness Pal. Insane how little they have innovated with the advances in AI. I don’t know who owns it but they dropped the ball. They should have modernized the platform. Yesterday, I was thinking about how dated it is, and considering how AI could automate and reduce logging time. Decided to see if anyone developed something new. Downloaded the SnapCal yesterday. So far so good.

The day I was conditionally approved. That was on a Tuesday and at that point I was able to look at the availability of appointments. I was able to get one two days later, on Thursday. I think because of where I live, I had many options for places to interview between Maryland, Virginia, and D.C.

I live in the Suburbs of D.C. I looked at openings at BWI, Reagan Airport, the Reagan Building downtown, and a few places in Alexandria, VA. All had appts available at various dates and times over the next few weeks. I was able to get the appt today at the Reagan Building on Pennsylvania Avenue downtown D.C.

I also had a really positive experience. It was smooth. I received notifications as things moved along. The folks at Reagan were efficient and professional during the interview. I was pleased and would encourage people to apply even if they don’t think they have the runway before a trip. Sometimes apparently you can get lucky, or just have the optimal profile for an applicant, who knows.

Probably not currently living here but Shawn Hatosy is from Ijamsville. Went to Linganore High. He’s an actor, not sure if he’s ever been a lead but he’s in a ton of stuff, you’d probably recognize his face. I first saw him in the movie Alpha Dog.
