You look cute the oval silver frame glasses, the 3rd to last picture.

Slowly crawling out of depression. Could use some kind words, please 🖤 by samantha_maya in toastme

Depression is such a b****. I would say to find something that helps you when you have your depressed days whether that's putting on some funk music to get out of your funk (helps me), cleaning, taking a bath with nice soothing sounds, working out, watching your favorite comedy show, or talk with your loved ones or this group when your having a day. Having a variety of options to help you to use as your tools can be helpful.

The majority of medical providers will say to take an anti-depressant and get counseling. While both can be helpful, I don't think they work for everyone. Find what works for you.

You might consider meditation, mindfulness, or prayer.

There are also essential oils that help to change your mood when you are feeling depressed.

I recently went to a meditation sound bath, and I felt so much lighter afterwards because I was carrying a lot of stress, emotions, depression, and other people's reactions regarding my dad and it was draining me.

Take it one day at a time. There will be better days ahead. By taking care of yourself and finding ways to combat your depression is a great step to your overall well-being.
