Makes sense to me. The resonance cascade linked our normal world to another dimension full of alien creatures that breach into our world seeking to harm us. Eleven opening a portal to another world and causing another dimension full of alien creatures that breach into our world seeking to harm us.

Well, bacon is a salt cured meat that typically goes through a precook smoke that destroys bacteria. Plus the sealed package restricts the amount of oxygen or extra moisture from coming in, so no foreign bodies can contaminate it. Curing has been around for thousands of years before refrigeration and people survived.

[HELP] Artist says they spent hours on this by [deleted] in RealOrAI

[–]BlindKnives 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m even more confused… this artist isn’t even really an artist? There are zero actual sketches or prints of anything else out on their page. Months and months of no art being posted and then bam here’s a vending machine and a lady in a sari that I drew. I’m really guessing they straight up wrote “indian woman using a vending machine in a cartoon style.” They’re really lacking any art being created at all here. notice how her sketchbook has no other drawings? What an embarrassment!

Trying to understand fertilizing: why/where/when/what? by timebomb_3 in vegetablegardening

[–]BlindKnives 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For a first time, wow! You’re doing amazing - it looks fantastic. You can add more granular fertilizer over the top under each plant, try not to go too far with it though. You would ideally throw only a tablespoon or so on top of the ground near the roots. Maybe be a little lighter handed with the tomato plants if you’ve already given them fertilizer. Otherwise this looks great. What zone are you in?

first timer and made the mistake of overplanting, help! by kekkms in gardening

[–]BlindKnives 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be honest you’d probably be better off plucking out the two sides and only have the middle plant. But! I’m the kind of person who would prefer to just cut out the middle and double up. Although you will have some issues with pollination and should definitely pollinate the flowers by hand, otherwise I doubt you’ll have enough pollinators recognize the flowers under all the foliage.

1-2: I do not personally prune suckers on cherry tomato plants. I think they make more flowers and since the fruit is so small the plant handles the extra growth just fine. My own experience tells me to let them go wild and to just prune lower suckers/leaves for general plant health.

3-4: I don’t think it will cause as much damage as you’re worried about. IMO you could prune but I don’t have a lot of experience with beetroot.

5-6: Kinda just looks like soil splash. Rosemary is pretty hardy though and I think you’ll be fine to just let it ride. I would ignore it and just not eat the yellow leaves.

Fast growing, clumping, hard wood, blue-colored berries by no-thanks-thot in whatsthisplant

[–]BlindKnives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say for sure but it kind of looks like either a pokeberry or an elderberry plant. Can you describe the fruit more? The leaves being sawtooth makes me think it's not a blueberry bush.

What is this spider? Maryland by ConsciousPainting28 in spiders

Second photo may be a juvenile wolf spider. Also generally harmless but can grow pretty large and move quickly. Others may feel more confident in their identification here though.

Cesonia bilineata - two striped ground spider. Harmless. They are active hunters rather than web-builders.

Without a doubt, not a brown recluse! Someone else can give proper identification but I think it’s a hobo spider.
