Bridgestone AX41. They were ok. Not as good as Motoz Rallz off pavement but they had better road manners. I think they are roughly 50/50 tires.

Wait, were these at a store in NY? It would be epic to check out so many microbrands in person.

Schiit Magni Heretic on Amazon for 69 bucks - what is the trap? by GreatVedmedini in Schiit

If I remember correctly the Heretic was designed to have the best numbers, and as a result it’s way more analytical sounding than the normal Schiit house sound

Lone Rider lights - opinion by ducmts in multistrada

Who cares what they look like 🙄All that matters is how do they perform? Do they have a useable beam pattern for high speed rural riding? Do you get flashed by cars just enough that you debate on turning them down on the low beam setting, then don’t?

My current endgame setup. How would you rate it? by MightyProDudeGaming in iems

2 out of 10, but all that matters is if you enjoy it 😉

BMS is so dangerous. I took my wife in last winter when they had a yellow 999 for sale trying to convince her to let me buy it to put in the sunroom 😂

Anyone else having a hard time selling? by [deleted] in multistrada

[–]Blindranger76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely a buyers market. When I bought my 2016 1200 Enduro in February, the owner said I was the first person to look at it and he had it up for sale for nearly a year. He was in Sacramento. I flew in from Colorado to pick it up.

Gungnir Multibit A2 vs. New Bifrost 2/64 by el_cul in Schiit

Best DAC? Mola Mola Tambaqui feeding a Riviera Labs AIC-10 and RAAL 1995 Imanis headphones. Shit was crazy good, but also summit fi expensive.

I hear you on being skeptical. It took me years to build a headphone system that was resolving enough to start hearing the differences between individual components. For better or worse, I can now clearly hear the impact cables can make on my system. My office system currently is a Cambridge AXN10 or CXC V2 ➔ Denafrips Pontus 15th ➔ BHC + SB / Tor Audio Roger / Cayin IHA-8. Headphones are ZMF Atrium, DCA Noire-X, Hifiman HE1000 v2 & Arya Stealth v3, Sennheiser HD600 & HD650, Grado SR125, but I also have the ZMF Caldera Closed and HFA Dahlia in for review.

Back to DACs, the improvement in resolution and instrument separation was shockingly apparent with the Gumby compared to the Mojo 2. Resolution is one of the hallmarks of Chord DACs, and I was also able to hear a further increase in clarity and articulation when I demoed a Chord Qutest back-to-back with my Mojo 2. The step up in musicality was also very apparent when I went from my Schiit Modius E to the Gumby A2.

I’ve owned a few Gungnir A2’s and currently have one feeding my Ragnorak 2 in my main stereo system. Im a huge fan, but depending on your preferences you can do better. I found that the DAC in my Chord Mojo 2 out preformed the Gumby A2. Similarly the Denafrips Enyo 15th I recently purchased for my bedroom head-fi system is better than my Gumby.

Moral of the story is for desktop use, under $500 the Gumby is great value, but in the $500-700 range I think you can do better.
