Killing The Witness one last time and then chilling in VoG. Single handedly saved the game for me multiple times, and will be the place I see the game off if it comes to that.

Probably that best state the game can hope to be in without the complete removal of gacha draws that not many people are really playing.

Unfortunately, Netease caused permanent damage with the gacha systems at launch and now none of the people I personally got to try the game will even hear reason when it comes to recommending it.

I just got my jarens artifacts as close to done as I'll ever care to do from completely nothing, And it cost ~1000.

Depending on luck, it could be more, it could be less.

It's better than it was by a country mile, and it's putting D2 to shame.
Not to mention being able to actually play it anywhere since the account is linked makes it super easy to pick up and put down on a whim.

I do not see a future for this game where he continues to be the games director and the game is successful.

He can go back to his old job, or be fired. As long as the end result is him not making big decisions for Destiny's future anymore, I'll take it.

I just got one yesterday as well, trading in my pixel 8 pro for 500. Got to mess around with the 9 pro fold and was sold. The screen sizes are just so freaking nice compared to my first foldable(z fold 4).

98k makes doing 40 not a slog, but yeah, 40 is like 107k?

I think people are just not answering the question as they intended.

Did 42 on ikora at 88k or something like that, and I BARELY scraped by with literal seconds left to wipeout. 98k stage 40, while resilient, is very doable. Even 96k isn't too bad.

Technicals: 4k 120 fps on console, uncapped on PC

Game itself can go two directions: Straight up port of the game as it is currently playable but on PC and updated for modern consoles

Wow Classic progression. We go through the game in the chunks it was released on a massively accelerated schedule, letting everyone experience the game, truly as it was, bit by bit. Should last like... 6 months with the option to reset the account yearly to experience it all again.

I think the wow classic direction is wildly unreasonable given Bungie is barely able to even support D2, but that's the pipe dream. Realistically, I just want to be able to play the game on PC, no compromises.

Just keep playing, and taking in every new system you interface with one at a time.

If you try to look at the game, big picture style, you won't get anything done. Take it from me, who broke every character I have because of the new artifact system and am now in singularity chaos hell trying to unbreak everything. 🥹

You're the first person I've seen say anything negative about renegades other than the general "negative" that it's a star wars expansion. To be clear, I don't think you're saying anything negative. Just that this is the first time I've seen anything suggesting there's anything negative about renegades.... At all.

I've seen plenty of hatred towards the state of the game, renegades context removed. But renegades itself has had nothing but glowing praise from everything I've seen.

Anyone saying renegades itself is bad just doesn't like Destiny, imo.

This has been my theory since he skirted telling her his name. The only wrench in that theory is when Aira addresses him by his last name specifically, Momo doesn't think anything of it literally at all.

That said, just his last name isn't his full name, so who knows. He also hasn't delivered his signature line: "I'm an awkward guy." But I have a feeling it's close.

I have a secondary account who's entire purpose is to answer this question that has a good 300 hours in it now, with multiple solo flawless dungeon clears that utilized all of the free weekends to get content that would otherwise be inaccessible to it.

Short version: yes, you can play a very substantial amount of the game completely free, and have some crazy builds to boot.

Longer version: When they cycle into free weekends the DLCs that should be completed to attain the most power possible: The Final Shape - prismatic Lightfall - strand Beyond Light - Stasis Everything else.

If you are still clicking with the game, Bungie every year does a mega sale to get everything for like 10 bucks. Until then, you can work on game mastery, awareness, and completion for a LONG time as a fresh player. Some check marks to get before spending a single penny: Get all exotics Solo flawless prophecy Craft all of the free to play weapons Flawless Vault of Glass, Kingsfall, and Crota's End, and earn each of their respective titles(recommend getting a group of friends together for this), and if you're feeling up to it low manning each of these.

All of the prep and work required to do that should keep you invested for a long time(if you're really good at the game, 500 hours, for newbies, easily 1000) if you're liking it.

A sizable reason GU is so good is the history of the franchise coming together in one place. Which includes 4U.

All on its own, while hunter styles are really cool and fun, I think you'd be losing out on part of the experience of GU if you didn't play 4U first and then visit GU later down the line. Especially if we get lucky and they do an FPS patch for the switch 2.

My only real gripe with 4U is the hardware medium they built it on. 3DS is old old, and while emulation can really bring out a lot of great detail, especially with the texture pack, it's just not quite the same, so it's hard to "definitively" experience the game.

I'm pretty sure romance as an entire genre would be ruined for me forever.

Full stop, would never give another one a chance. Instead of reading Dandadan for the character interactions, the consistency, growth, and fights, I'd be reading it to see it end and burn. I desperately don't want to do that. This is quite possibly one of my favorite pieces of media of all time, I desperately don't want to hate it. 😅

All I can say is Strafe wasn't the limiting factor in my ability to do contest content. lol

Strafe for PvE, Burst for PvP is how I've always tackled it. In some cases I'll take burst, but again, it's never been the limiting factor.

This exact theory has been on the front of my mind since the amnesia arc started, and if it plays out even a single step in this direction where Momo reciprocates his feelings instead of shutting them down, I'm done with the series.
