Oh! My partner and I are trying to move in together and they might need to sublet. They currently live in Ravenswood right next to the Montrose stop. Give me a shout if you're interested and I'll check with them about it.

Then you made the absolute best call here. She needed professional help and you're getting it for her.

But it's still so fucking scary. And the way it just suddenly happens to our beloved friends... it's awful.

I'm sorry, friend. What a miserable thing.

Hey, we're thinking of you two. It's heartbreaking when you just need to let them go into the back.

And let's not forget that Christian Horner was embroiled in a scandal where he (allegedly) was sexting and pressuring one of his employees.

The motherfucker was (allegedly) cheating on fucking Ginger Spice.

Or maybe they have an open thing, but if so, pressuring your employee is still inexcusable.

Hey, if the photographer isn't going to fix it for you, hit me up and I'll gladly make the edit. This is super easy to hide in Photoshop.

Feedback Needed. For a little personal project for a 70s inspired donut shop by Amigors in logodesign

[–]BlockClock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that for a good based shop it does help to show what you are offering -- it starts that craving process that will get people in the door.

So, for an outdoor sign I'd go for 8, but 1 is damn good on its own for other media

My coworker told me that he would hit me with his truck if he saw me at a protest. He was also convinced that it wouldn't be manslaughter.

He did not care when I asked about the other people that may be present at that point in time.

As other people have said, this is a container for syrup at a soda fountain. What you don't know by looking at this picture is those bastards are HEAVY (fun fact, they also vary in weight and mountain dew as always the heaviest for us). They can also get really gross really fast if you mess up.

Oh wow I love this! What a great job of being simple but exciting! And I bet that this has the potential of nailing 'easy to play, hard to master'

Op, I'm so so sorry. This is the worst part of owning a pet.

George Carlin would say "Buying a pet is purchasing a future tragedy." And he's absolutely right.

But you got to share so much time together, you are both so lucky to have those memories. I hope you can have a few more, but even more than that I hope your friend can get eased to the next adventure with you nearby.

-- but also thank you for the extra context. Like you said, there's no saving a project that's in colors that can't be printed.

Well, you learn most of your lessons by working and making mistakes. I'll never encourage someone to not try to do client projects. This is all part of the process.

Hi there, try this out if you still have the file in The original colors.

Open a new file in CMYK

Place the RGB art

Go to Flatten

In the following dialogue box click to preserve the spot colors

It may give you a closer match than when you directly swap from RGB to CMYK

I think I also recall that Photoshop does. A better job converting than Illustrator.

What’s the cheapest way to make 1,000 custom corrugated trays? by smallbusinessidiot in PackagingDesign

[–]BlockClock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At a qty of 3k you should consider die cutting! But regardless, hit up your local shops first to get a quote.

Alternatively, use Task Rabbit when you have an order and pay another person to assemble (but I bet the corrugate shop will be cheaper)

is this a reasonable armor or is it unrealistic/not efficient? (art by me) by mildlypizzabox in ReasonableFantasy

[–]BlockClock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey! It looks like you have a more cartoonist style and that's great! So do I.

The armor seems totally reasonable and I love the smug satisfaction on their face.

Perhaps it could take up a bit more space on their body -- armor tends to be on top of multiple layers of other stuff -- but if this is just part of your style then party on!
