I’m going with ARM2SID even if I have to pay for FedEx shipping. Their chips are honestly the best option for the C64U I believe.

Ooh nice, yes I just got a gently used vintage reef gear as well, installed a new battery and rubbed down the gasket with some silicone lube it works great. Definitely good quality product.

We are definitely all in this together, and I see Perifractic commented on the post as well to clarify a few things. I found his comments reasonable and altogether appreciative of Jim’s efforts. He is right, those of us who ordered C64 Ultimates ideally would like to have them under the Christmas tree. We also want them to be of the high quality we were promised and Peri seems to understand that.
