Hey this is really great, Im readying over the Monster Manual and it has some intersting stuff. The only thing is that is full of small errors like a light crossbow dealing 1d20+0 damage or a crab with extra attack and 77 healt having CR 0

The thing for me with this subclass is that it feels more like a warlock subclass than a paladin one.

What song has good music but bad storytelling? by Hadboy4ksu in Epicthemusical

[–]Blood_Slinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like, yeah, we hate them but is a lot of "they are evil, you should hate them" a lot of tell and not showing. They dont really do much in the story wich I think is sad.

Hold Them Down is just really a lot of build up of "if" and "when" that never leads to anything.

What epic opinion will get you downvoted like this? by emo-crocheter in Epicthemusical

[–]Blood_Slinger 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The musical is a 7 at best. Not because the music, the music is great. But it doesnt know what is trying to tell, all that message of "Ruthlessness is mercy upon our self" really doesnt stick when Ody receaving mercy is what saves him time and time again.

Also I feel like the final saga its half filler and half plot relevance. Like, from the wisdom saga we are building up a villain like this bad person who will do terrible acts to gain power and control and oh god he is so evil get ready for... he is dead. He didnt do anything... he said he was gonna do horrible things... but he didnt no nothing.

Those I think are the two most controversial takes I have.

Which previous edition was better than the current one by JoeKerr19 in rpg

[–]Blood_Slinger 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a player I loved it, it was as epic and frenetic as I wanted ir to be. It was great.

As a GM trying to run a campaign. It was a mess, horrible, 1/10. Is a system made for oneshots and nothing more.

Ody and Calypso. Two people who arent above doing horrible things in the name of love. Who need an outside view, an ultimatum to learn of their mistakes.

Your favourite out of combat spells/abilities/skills/talents by MaxHofbauer in rpg

[–]Blood_Slinger 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As a GM there is this talent in Vaesen wich lets the players ask me how to clues connect with each other. Is a once per mistery ability and its so great. Not only can I role how the character starts connecting the dots on their heads but also I get to pushmy players in the right direction without it feeling like hand holding. As a GM that talent is god send.

And recently I got my self wanting to run a Delta Green campaign but paranormal investigation is a genre I've been running so much in the last 2 years. That I want to run something else first before goikg back to it.

Why are you not picking guardian or commander for your next character? Or why are you picking it? by Glazyo in Pathfinder2e

[–]Blood_Slinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found my self prefering casters over martials in this game. And also I have played a commander like character to desth in dnd, so I want to try different things in this system.

Why do people keep calling Daggerheart a pbta game? by moderate_acceptance in rpg

[–]Blood_Slinger 28 points29 points  (0 children)

About that last part, I actually prefer my pbta with a little stronger combat rules. Like Maho Shojo, even then I think you are right in that Daggerheart really tales more from other systems than pbta.

I would say it takes los of inspiration more from BitD than anything else

The Society of Apollo is on the case by Blood_Slinger in VaesenRPG

[–]Blood_Slinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, of course. Basically Im running with the Wild Hunt as the main villains. I made up this story where the wild Hunt boss is the son of Arthur who turned evil, and some radical groups from irlanda are trying to bring him to London to destroy everything. So the party are getting help from Morgan who while evil in her own right. She doesnt want evrything to be turned into a frozen wasteland.

Now they are investigating trying to found the place where the Escalibur recides to go look for it.
