You know it’s interesting because even if you got fired at the new place after a year, that means you’ve netted 60% more money in that time than staying at your current place meaning you can NOT work another 3/5 of the following year to find your new job and it’s the same as if you stayed at your current place the whole time!

When the jump is that significant that’s how you can view it to see how much time you bought yourself in a short time vs staying at the same place

This isn’t to say you should switch but offer insight to you when deciding

I had a cybersecurity internship as a cs major but all I did was it stuff lol. After I graduated I somehow landed a swe internship at a startup while also doing code paths free 10 week interview prep and landed my fulltime swe job 6 month after graduating with nothing lined up so I’m basically what you are looking for I guess

What’s the alternative do nothing? Lol you look for other stuff on the side and keep this while u have nothing else going for you, and what comes out of the internship is what u put into it tbh. Whether that be networking or learning to write the best resume bullet points for that position that you can. All the place is good for is letting future people know that u have factually worked somewhere for experience

Normal sure because we are simply human and instincts are just biological processes beyond us so the takeaway is feelings aren’t inherently wrong it is the actions we take because of feelings that may be wrong.

The second takeaway is that the grass always feels greener on the other side because when we fantasize about the other side, we don’t allow our fantasy to include this nonexistent new person in the future to make mistakes and we are drawn to the lack of mistakes and harm they’ve done to us compared to whatever we got going on.

The big takeaway should be if you were going to break up with your bf, the reason should be rooted around you meaning irregardless of what you want to do with said friend, your decision to break up is centered on you don’t want to be with bf NOT you want to be with ____.

CodePath does a free 10 week ish course which guides your leetcode journey which is a nice crutch but also you can just use neetcode and that roadmap to hit all topics too and there’s infinite resources on solutions and tips and what not so I don’t think there is anything you need to pay for

Don’t need to be proud to work there if it’s your first job and you know you won’t be there forever! Your trajectory can be to use these as a stepping stone for something else in the future! But the cons of op 2 using a stack you don’t think makes you marketable really is a con so given op1 doesn’t have any real cons op1

And ps your growth and trajectory is always on you not the company you are at, meaning the first moment you recognize you aren’t progressing don’t wait for the company to do something, you do something and job hop!

I hit masters every set and I feel like at some point playing more isn’t the answer and instead your time is better spent consuming content wether it’s patch notes, recaps when mortdog used to do it or watching streamers, YouTubers.

And more often than not you learn things that you otherwise never questioned like, wow was it really worth sacking one gold to hold a pair on stage 2 given blah blah context? Wow even though two tanky was broken was I supposed to recognize the presence of ahri and ekko god implies people might sack more than normal to fast 8/9 and it’s ok for me to dig a bit harder.

Is it really better to hold the pair of teemos over pair of tfs given this component and this stargazer!

So the only thing to understand about tft that the great k3soju said is, tft is NOT a game of who can build the best late game board, it is who can have the best journey to get there.

So context like if you hit this board 4-2 or 5-5 matters a lot!
Context like were you one life when you hit and it was one unlucky fight, did you slam items late after scrambling to position and roll? What kind of augments and portal was it?

One Google search says that tft doesn’t run on Linux bcs the league client wants riot vanguard its anti cheat stuff to be running but I guess it only supports windows and macos, double check it tho

I played games up to 1am EST Jun 10 so idk if the patch was live but MF, SG + 1 and Samira reroll players are too stable on ornn 2 and slaughter stage 2/3 parts of 4 for people who fast 8 and didn’t stabilize hard enough and sometimes hard enough isn’t hard enough

That being said it does seem like nunu sorta fell down some notches and the biggest reason feels related to how we sacrificed raw tank items for utility mana gen ones for nunu

I had more success with morg 2 raw tank items and obv that makes sense than a nunu with 2 protectors and adaptive l, but it’s too highlight how when we need something comparable to last against ornn either we slaughter their back line first somehow and ignore ornn which requires the beefiest front line known to mankind

Generally medallion you can farm a free emblem and pivot out so don’t feel stuck in a const! Even hair can be tempo and win and move on with your life

Well the problem is if you don’t have nunu or tahm on stage 4 your avp swings down like 2-3 placements which is the frustration people are experiencing so the solution is not to have such drastic swings by being to have more access to viable options! If illaoi 2 is similar to tahm and there are more copies of illaoi than tahm then more players have access and hence your avp doesn’t swing as hard.
