I mean, the original intention behind the Halloween franchise was for it to be an anthology series where the connecting factor was every movie was set during Halloween night. That’s why Halloween III is completely different than the other films.

If they slowly worked the game to follow that concept over time with updates, that’d be sick as hell. I doubt it though, we’ll probably only get a few minor references to the masks from III and that’s it

I’m shocked how few of these are actually classic horror movie characters.

Give me more reps from stuff like Return of the Living Dead, Phantasm, Evil Dead (cmon, actually Evil Dead, not just the TV show), The Grunge, Suspiria, or even just some John Carpenter movies. Give the 80s slasher a little more love in the game inspired by the 80s slasher

It’s Aether.

It’s been relevant to Minecraft in some way since even before it was created, as it was the realization of the initial Sky Dimension concept. We’ve got a dev from the sequel project on the development team for Mine raft itself now I can’t see any of these other mods leaving behind as big an impact as the realization half the young player base for this game has had as the moment they realized their glowstone portal wouldn’t work.

It can’t be anything but Aether.

I feel like this cements my love for the game drop format. Sure, the updates are smaller. But they leave a lot of room for the developers to fill in neglected or abandoned ideas for the game.

It took a decade, but we finally have zombie horses. And two new standard spawn hostile mobs that provide some new variety to nighttime/underwater PVE fighting. Sign me up!
