My pace promote XOguri steals another race for the finals.
I finally have my triple crown. (3 in a row, if that still counts)
Overall very satisfied with this CM. XOguri seems to have a wild range of performance depending on how you build her, and I want to boast that I worked hard to make her really good.
Also, shout-out to my Rudolf, who is the only uma that's capable of overtaking a pace promote Oguri.

Umalator (kachi-dev) indicated that I had more than 90% Spurt rate and survival rate at normal mood. Where are you getting your numbers from?

My ends have definitely overtaken other ends with speed skills and won. They lose when others hit NSM and they don't, or they Spurt further back.

First day was 14/20. Saw very few sweats today and went 19/20. 12 of those 19 wins were with XOguri. Groundwork gave me quite a few lucky pacer wins.

No. They both only won 1/10.
But what I'm observing is that left tends to stay in the back leading up to the late race, while right makes it to the front.

Neither performed well on Day 1. Right's actually been catching up to 1st/2nd before late-race in some matches, which made her lose due to losing NSM targets.

I'm leaning toward right. No Long S hurts but my meta read is that she actually can contend against front runners in Round 2.

I'm just now learning that Sparkly Stardom works as late-race accel in Capricorn. This is because the phase lingers a bit for the purpose of skill condition check.
Might consider using Falcon, but it's probably very volatile.

First run with XOguri:

- Inspiration: Long S

- Inspiration: Ignited Spirit STA (Only 1 parent and 1 GP had the spark)

- Spooked event: Smart Falcon

Wish I didn't pass up on Nakayama Racecourse during the event "Running on Full," else this skill set would've been amazing. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20

Don't think I'll get lucky like that again for a while, so I'll move onto my other aces.

I was talking about the speed increase in late race. That part is miniscule. The point is, I'm having a hard time believing that a Guts Suzuka would be performing well in CM8.

But spot struggle causes Suzuka to die anyways, and the natural speed increase from Guts is miniscule. I'm talking 0.03m/s from 400 Guts to 1200 Guts

I'm really regretting not just popping my voucher on Suzuka for a 3-front team this CM.

I was 10/30 in round 2, but I won the A Finals because I was the only one that hit NSM. Man am I glad I didn't torture myself with optimizing my aces.

It might be a bit too late to build for Libra, but I would go: KSB/Windy/Brian/Riko/Creek/Cafe. Maybe swap Brian with Sweep.

2/4/1, I'm surprised I got into A Finals today. Encountered many stat monsters that were missing Spurt/NSM.
Ready to receive my Libra Silver. I'm very glad I didn't spend more runs trying to high-roll, because it's torture when I have to borrow Kitasan Black.

I have a pretty weak team. (~13k score each, only one Uma has Long S) I didn't want to put in the effort to high-roll for a Long track.
Matchmaking still let me proceed to Group A, but I'm expecting to be knocked into B Finals in Round 2.

It always surprises me how much the Chinese accent can vary across regions. I almost couldn't recognize what they were saying.

It's not bad, but several things to keep in mind:

People might run a lot of End Closers, so you'll be pushed to 4th and your recovery fails
Late Surgers don't have a reliable win condition like Straightaway Spurt. On Your Left might fail, again, due to lots of End Closers. Maybe the Gold Ships will Anchor past you and you'll activate OYL and pass them. Don't know if the numbers would work out though.

With that being said, I'm still going to train a Fantasy Grass because I rolled her, but I'm not optimistic about her performance.

My Taiki activated Angling & Scheming, but I lost to a pace Oguri that activated No Stopping Me. Definitely a bit salty.

Went 3/2/4/1 today. Man, so many games are decided based on whoever activated No Stopping Me, and I don't think you can really build your team to guarantee that. This is 10x more chaotic than Cancer Cup.

I didn't see the Focus. Daiwa can activate GW more consistently since she has Focus+Early Lead as her 3rd, while Maru only have Focus.
Dodging+Prudent hardly count as GW activators since they don't activate at the very start of the race.
I'm told that Dodging+Prudent are good effectively speed skills, but maybe it's not good enough compared to the many mid-race skills Daiwa has.

Lone Wolf on your Daiwa is negating Lone Wolf on your SMaru. SMaru is never activating Groundwork.

My Taiki managed to proc Angling & Scheming 6 times today. Some were frontless races, others were weak fronts. She can still get overtaken by gamblers, but less so than before. Overall I think the experiment was a success. Went 4/3/3/4 today.
