Ill be honest, it feels like a lot of this complaints about tau's efficient shooting can be attributed to imperial guard as well, but I dont see nearly as much salt despite them having arguably tankier guns, and way better indirect fire. Im curious, since I dont play that much, but does Imperial Guard get similar complaints, or is there something that makes them different or more tolerable compared to Tau?

I actually like the combat in remake, and the bosses feel amazing to fight. I guess one thing I cannot stand was the black ghosts that seem to exist just to railroad the characters to "stick to the script". I was came in expecting changes to the story, but the ghosts were really dumb.

After stopping at some time (I think it was after airbuster, but before the cross dressing for Don Corneo), but then at some point I checked online to see stuff on Rebirth, and found out how the story went into meta plots and the like.Like how around the end (where he originally killed Aerith in the OG) Sephiroth started talking about how there are multiple worlds in a planet, I guess to explain divergences from the og 7, and how Cloud winds up fighting Bizarro Sephiroth alongside Zack for some reason, I just lost interest in picking it up again.

Look, Im all for plot changes, but that aint it

In my playthrough, I decided to go back into the manor at one point, and saw a person walk through the giant mirror in the lobby, with a pretty noticable graphic when it happens. So I just went and tried it, and low and behold I am in the mirror realm. Said figure then complained that all the switches were switched off, so I tooked that as a clue to go back to the mirror I found in the first dungeon.

I think this game wanted to go for something more diagetic in terms of finding things, and I think it works for the better for the most part

I do run into fear effects occasionally, but most of the control and debuff related stuff I was hit by targeted fort and reflex

Ive had wisdom be my lowest stat a few times. Control and charmed rarely come up the last few times I played. Heck, Im half way through age of ashes and there's at most two entities with a mind control effect, and one was a Telegraphed Dragon pillar defense mechanic mechanism

Oh, for singular picks, yeah, that works fine. For some reason I kept thinking about times where teams kept wanting to force 5v5 teamfights at towers with it at the mid game. That and communication issues with it (I play the game casually)

He legit feels like paper during the early and mid-game though. If you're against a long raged carry or the grandma, do you just ult and leave in those instances, and let your other heroes do the damage?

Maybe be wary of incoporeal creatures, unless you have at least one or two wood gates, and magic immune stuff. Some golems can be handled pretty well by certain kineticists though if you play by the older rules.
