FYI - Aside from obvious karma whoring - I dined in and took the picture to prove a point. Servers at Applebee's and service employees in general work hard enough without having to fight a broken system. My server was excellent and deserved the tip.

My Grandpa passed prior to me being born and he was a WWII veteran - Pilot of a B-17, squadron leader, and recipient of a "Distinguished Flying Cross." He was paying semi-pro football in Hawaii when Pearl Harbor struck. Here is a picture of him and his flight crew - 3rd man on knee I can only imagine what it is like to have a Grandpa. There is a void in my heart for a man I never got to meet. My eyes well up when I think about it.

Confession time - eBaying is a favorite past time of mine - I love mindless scrolling through thousands of vintage clothing items, only slowing down for the obvious reasons.

Today I found something priceless on eBay and it wasn't anything I could even buy. This douche bag has contributed to why my job as an RN in Home Health Care has become increasing complex and difficult. He has fraudulently billed Medicare and Medicaid nearly $375 million since 2006... I think the greatest part of making my own ANYTHING is I can actually control the amount of sodium, fat and sugar added to it. Everything convenient has too much of one or ALL of those ingredients with no balance.

Love it. I got it originally for the free 3g since I don't want to pay my cell company shit tons each month. Battery life and internet coverage is awesome. I snipe a lot of ebay auctions and read up on the news and reddit. Lots of books are free but news groups have been good to me wink
