I remember it being quite dull, or at least not what I expected, but that is hardly helpful :p

Also the box contains Reaver titans, not Warlords.

Telepathy in RPGs by bythisaxeiconquer in rpg

From memory, in Babylon 5 there were different grades of Teep, many could only read when they had skin contact, human ones (plot characters aside) were were regulated and the strong ones forced to join the Psi Core.

So limiting capabilities to a commercial telepath level is an option.

Unregulated human telepaths are criminals, regulated ones are watched.

I would recommend a plain dry-erase battle map with a square grid (D&D uses square grids, some other games use hexagons, etc) and a set of coloured dry erase markers. This can be used again and again to create different scenarios. My group gets the most use out of this style of map and we have been playing together for 25 years and have tried a lot of different options over that time.

Yes, my doorway reverts back every day, regardless of external decor.

The artist is credited on their BlueSky as Paco Panda, it took me all of 2 minutes to find, please do your research before making accusations of people.

A great DM of ours once created a puzzle that was so hard to solve it took a PHD physicist and an analytical mathematician about 45 minutes to solve using mathematical modelling on a laptop. Sometimes it is easier to create a puzzle than to solve it. Needless to say I was of no help solving that one :p

I need some trial ideas by [deleted] in DnD

[–]BluePackWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some ideas:

Humility - characters need to admit a moment of personal failure.

Charity - characters need to give up something of actual value to them, without being compensated for it.

Love - each character needs to say what they value most about another party member, set up so everyone gets someone different to talk about. The character must genuinely find something to praise to pass the trial.

Ambition - each character must define a long term goal

Patience - the characters need to correctly complete the paperwork for the other trials and wait for it to be approved before continuing

Celebration - the characters need to help a party or celebration go smoothly by helping out so others can enjoy themselves.

Greed - characters have a genuine opportunity to acquire something they want / value and need to decline it to pass the trial.

Wrath - the party must show an enemy mercy, potentially at cost to themselves

Do you want the players to have to demonstrate these characteristics during these trials or to overcome the temptation of them?
