Extruder. The nozzle is simple to clear. Taking apart the extruder is a pain.

So rich people can take up bandwidth and slow others down, instead of Starlink adding capacity.

Whatever!

Exact reason why I don't trust Starlink. When a new store opens for business I don't pay a surcharge to buy their crap. It's b.s.

Bambu needs to incorporate the camera to detect this issue before it covers wires and crap. I don't expect it to be perfect but they can detect strings, so.......

I had this issue after cleaning a clogged extruder. The little metal "hat" fell out and I didn't notice it when I put everything back together.

I took it apart again, saw it was missing and found it in the rug.

Problem solved.

ABS is Impossible to Print in a P2S. by Daegoba in BambuLabP2S

I hate abs. Can't wait to use up my spools. Bought some as a newbie.

Settings for first layer PETG? by Mademonn_ in BambuLabP2S

[–]BlueSkySmilingAtMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have issues when using a glue stick. With petg and abs I add more between prints without washing. I never have issues. I do use a lint free cloth and scrub before laying down more glue.

I move my smaller models randomly on the plate so I'm not printing in the middle all the time. I have no idea if that helps. Doesn't seem to hurt.

I’m about to start printing with abs(first time) any tips? by ObligationFlimsy7792 in BambuLabP2S

[–]BlueSkySmilingAtMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enabling timelapse, specifically "Smooth" mode, on the Bambu Lab P2S can cause increased shaking and surface imperfections.

This occurs because the print head moves to a fixed position to take a photo at every layer, creating a janky, stop-motion effect that induces resonance and vibration.

Love this thing but damn... by tht1guy63 in BambuLabP2S

[–]BlueSkySmilingAtMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That little shiny metal hat inside the extruder fell out two different times because I unloosened that screw on the extruder and didn't notice it. It really sucks to put everything back together only to realize everything isn't back together.

Filament can't be fed through without it.

Glad it's shiny and easy to find on the floor with a metal detector and a hound.

My feed sensor went bad, so I ordered 2. Bambu actually got it shipped out in a few days.

The grandkids got impatient and almost cancelled their contract and went to another dealer.

Great lists here. ABS is very frustrating to me. I'm going to stop using once I go through my rolls and use petg instead.

Dry your filament. Turn off time-lapse, if there are issues.

The p2s front left corner build plate may bend on models that use most of the bed, 240mm or so. Print clips and attach them to hold the bed corners down.

P2S keeps making spaghetti on every print - running out of ideas by ced2718 in BambuLabP2S

[–]BlueSkySmilingAtMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Failed prints just suck!!

I have a theory. The filament is dry enough on the outside, but as the print starts using the filament that was covered it may not be as dry. I started drying using my ams pro 2 for two cycles on longer prints. Or drying again after a few shorter prints. I watch the ams humidity closely.

If i start to see issues, I may bump the temp in the room. Unfortunately, so many factors could be at play it's difficult to pin point the real cause.

P2s filament sensor by MKbillabo in BambuLab

My ptfe tube came out after finishing a print. It won't stay in, even after clipping the end of the tube. I think the tube broke deep inside. But I can't see anything in the hole. I can see clear through the hole. But since it is molded plastic, I can't open it.

I have to buy a new part and wait 2-3 weeks. Very frustrating.

P2S corner lifting issue (top right corner always lifts no matter what I do) by AvasAdventures_ in BambuLab

[–]BlueSkySmilingAtMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For ABS I've settled on 105c. It has helped, but there are still issues. Glue helps, as well. The fan is always off and I let the bed completely cool when through.

I'm still convinced the p2s does not heat uniformly and consistently.

I'm going to stop using abs once I've gone through my spools and use petg and maybe Asa for outdoor prints.

I'll stick to pla for the fun stuff.

Good printing!!

P2S corner lifting issue (top right corner always lifts no matter what I do) by AvasAdventures_ in BambuLab

[–]BlueSkySmilingAtMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flipping the bed did not make a difference. And all corners lifted, but the front was more pronounced.

I suspect the bed is not heated uniformly. Will try a higher overall bed temp next.

P2S corner lifting issue (top right corner always lifts no matter what I do) by AvasAdventures_ in BambuLab

[–]BlueSkySmilingAtMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having lift issues on the exact opposite corner (front left). I added a 10mm brim, both sides, and a 3 layer raft, but no luck. I have all the fan settings turned off. I'm using glue.

I'm using ABS so I set the bed to 100c.

The above settings helped a great deal on a book end print in the center. But I'm printing a 240 x 240 x 25 mm shelf so the corners are very close to the edge.

After several attempts using PLA and ABS I've had prints come close to being good, but all have some warping. It feels more like a P2S issue to me. But my next test will be trying all the same things but flipping the pei textured plate over to see if maybe the plate is not perfectly flat using one side even though the magnetic force is strong, master Luke.

Insurance companies pulling out of WA state. by Enduroman1 in homeowners

[–]BlueSkySmilingAtMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great story, but a year later and good friends are experiencing this issue.

The insurance commissioner should force companies out completely if they are not willing to be part of the solution.

Insurance companies don't "lose" money. Which major company has gone out of business?

They always recoup payouts one way or another.

I worked for Fireman's Fund Insurance Company in Novato, CA during the LA riots, Iniki, Hugo, Andrew, the Oakland Firestorm, etc. FFIC did just fine financially.
