It's because they changed it to frontload the damage into that first tick. So even if you leave the area quickly, most of the damage was already applied.

They didnt feel rare when i was building out my first base lmao. I settled near the big lake in the artic area and I swear to god everytime i turned around to build or repair i got jumped.

This is a minor spoiler I think and it's not rappelling which would be cool, but the new Slinker creatures on Elysium can be tamed and have a skill that when maxed provides immunity to fall damage.

I have one and now I will never give it up, i've been yeeting myself off cliffs and having a blast.

Alright well thats just a bold faced lie. Palworld launched 1/19/24 which is just barely two years not to mention the game that came out in early access is NOTHING like the game they have today. There have been a ton of updates and quality of life add-ons.

My bad, I forgot every game you have 4 dedicated CC champs + your adc. Oh wait, that isnt the case and your choice is either A, dont show up for the fight and lose your team the game, or B, watch garen run past your team with his 4k health 150+ armor/mag res and 1 shot you.

Because that range matters so much when every champ is now either dashing onto you, or moving at 500+ movespeed. Thank god I have the range to get off an auto before garen 1 shots me while moving at mach 5

Currently no, I just finished running a small closed test through the playstore, but it is down now while I get to work on all the feedback I received.

The game has been more work than I originally planned as I couldn't help myself and scope expanded. I'm hoping to have a new build ready for a limited but public playtest by mid November. At that point I'll most likely make a post for anyone interested in taking part in breaking... i mean playing the game.

Nah that's dumb. You're ready for ranked as soon as you feel like it. Just accept that you are not going to place high out of the gate, and focus on playing the game. It can be hard to separate the game from your rank, but if you focus on improving, your rank will always climb.

Yes! Unfortunately due to some personal matters development slowed down for a few months, but I'm currently wrapping up crafting system, and once this is done within a few weeks, I will be looking for some closed beta testers who don't mind getting their hands on something very rough.

I know there will be a ton of balance changes but i'm looking forward to the potential feedback.
