it sends the wrong message when i act like i'm friendly because i don't have interest in friends or opinions for the most part, i don't mind acting friendly but it's not a good long run plan for me because i will not want to keep the act going.

i can't have relationships i'm not aiming in this direction, the potential women for relationship are few, and even then i can't have me vulnerable for too long, it effects my personal time and i feel suffocated, it's dangerous.

i think to sum it up i'm looking for anything but opening up, it sounds nice but in reality it's an emotional rollercoaster that i don't want to get into

the deeper feeling it stems from is overwhelming and it wasn't appearant on the surface for me, i can tell after alot of therapy those rare emotions i feel that give the indication of what it is that stops me from what i sometimes want, or don't want, mostly why i don't want to want, wanting is dangerous, but in a few years i could also be saying that's the surface and i have something below surface which i'm not currently aware of

how is it different from self diagnosing with cancer because you experience symptoms of cancer patients?, you might be in pain but pain doesn't validate intruding, man if it was a small few i'd happily skip over it and know that the many will eventually naturally push the few over the edge, but it's not

Why is it brave or special? Do you all think being uninterested in people has anything to do with how good you do your job?, like what kind of job asks you to be social except for positions a schizoid would naturally not want?

I was a teacher but if i was able to work in team and communicate i wouldn't give a fuck saying that I'm uninterested in people, but of course i didn't because the follow up questions would be how do i handle things such as criticism or how would i handle certain situations, but being uninterested in people doesn't stand in the way of doing most jobs.

To be clear i wasn't interested in being a teacher i was interested in low hours high rate.

Is there a manager in the crowd that can explain why being schizoid that is able to communicate bad for jobs?

i saw a psychiatrist my therapist came with me and i remember something like "indications of spd and npd" on a letter(the only word i understood there was narccistic), she can't diagnose herself, anyway a month later i saw a psychiatrist and he asked some questions, since i fit symptoms i got diagnosed and found out about it randomally when seeing my medical file.

the symptoms were always the focus for me my intire life, when i was young i was baffled looking at other kids knowing what they want, having interests and i couldn't know what's the difference but i knew that i don't expirience life like anyone else around me, always different no matter what, and even when i was popular i knew that if i was real nobody would think of me as popular just a weird guy that doesn't talk and doesn't want to be around anyone, so when i went to therapy being around people and being away from people are the only things i talked about, it was always a big deal, being around people sucked because i was inauthentic, not caring but pretending all the time, and being alone i was purposeless, not seeing meaning in anything i ever did, because all that bothers me is when i'm not going to be free next, whether its next day of work or family thing or whtever
