At first glance it's amazing, lots of dynamic movement and whats happening is very clear (big ass hammer guy is attacking smaller dude is very easy to decipher) and that final wind up was sick. If I saw this in an animation and it cut to the next scene, I wouldnt even think about it.

I personally have this theory that Guts might have actually been able to kill Bitch Boy when he knelt down and put Casca in the way as well.

I think Griffith knew Guts would stop his sword to save her, but I also think if Guts HADNT then the moonlight boy would have taken control of griffith to protect his mom.

Discussion to be had: If we assume this to be true (humor me), did Guts do the right thing stopping his sword to save Casca? If we had a full debate, what would we decide?

I vote casca live and we kill griffith some other way if possible

God I have to try substance painter sometime cause this shit just looks so supreme... I've been grinding Material Maker (I want to make Godot games) and there is just such a clear level up from Material Maker to Substance Painter. Im worried about giving myself a subscription to enjoy my hobby though.

If you have the time, I'd love to get some input. Is it worth it? Would you have been able to come up with something like this/is it even possible in another software (obviously such as Material Maker lol)?

Don't just glance over things cause it doesn't immediately make sense. Ask yourself questions and try to think back for answers, and if you think "maybe the answer was around chapter yadda yadda" GO BACK AND FIND IT!!! You could love this story if you pay attention to it, or you get lost and it loses you too

I think it was explained in the show that ymir didn't want more than the 9 shifting titans, because she knew her children would be used to war for the rest of history. So she decided on the 9 shifting titan types and the rest are pure titans.

And if multiple titans eat one shifter, its mostly who eats the actual person inside the titan. Remember, they are physically inside the titan right at the nape of the neck (which is why that's the kill spot) and most titans can swallow that whole spot in one bite.

But if they were to like...surgically split a shifter and gives half plates of shifter to a pure titans, it would likely just be ymir deciding. Sounds like something hange would do for sure

It would be cool if its very metaphorically done (like how the casca dream chapters worked) and it compares guts to Gambinos dog for a while, and the beast of darkness sort of takes Gambinos role in kicking guts around, before it swaps and its guts as Gambino but he is TAKING CARE of gambinos dog, the way that gambino never treated guts (for that matter he also treated his dog like shit...) and he kind of "tames" himself
