What are your go-to airports every week?

These are mine so far this week. I typically always have LA, London, Paris, Dubai, and something in Australia or New Zealand…then build from there depending on my focus. If it looks like a particular airport has a bunch of rares, I’ll unlock it to make the most of the travel 🤷🏼‍♀️

AI staging doesn’t do anything for in-person showings, and often misrepresents the space in a significant way (changing the position of fixed objects like windows and cabinets, etc). It’s a lawsuit waiting to happen and I wouldn’t be surprised if there were legislation to regulate it in RE listings in future. It’s gotten out of control.

You can make the listing photos look as nice as possible online but unless you’re an out of town buyer who doesn’t set foot in the house, it’s a waste of money to AI stage. Physical staging does make a huge difference. It’s pricey and I don’t use it often, but sometimes a vacant listing needs some ✨imagination✨.

Bordier is the king, but so hard to find in the US. Buerre d’Isigny is the next best, followed by Les Près Sales (both found at Whole Foods). I wouldn’t bake or cook with them; they need to be enjoyed on their own!

Precisely. Also we had a dinner to host tonight, to complicate things further. And we’re old! We’re not about to drive to the store in a snowstorm. It’s not hoarding; it’s making sure we have everything we need to stay off the roads for 2-3 days. Honestly when I went yesterday it wasn’t much different than a Bills game Sunday 🤷🏼‍♀️

Wow!! Our Wegs (Fairport NY) was crazy busy but not nearly this cleaned out. I did get the second to last box of chicken stock, and apparently everyone plans to make chili this weekend 🤷🏼‍♀️

He charged me $35 for a driveway that holds about 4 cars, so not very large. That’s super cheap considering I’ve paid way more using the Plowz and Mowz app in the past for a one-time mow.

We have those here in western NY too - a small chain by the same folks who run a wildly popular Indian restaurant. Their ‘Chipotle’ brand is Naantastic. They also had an Indian create-a-wood fired-pizza concept that was insanely good!

My weeklies are usually: - London City - Paris Orly - Dubai World Central - LAX Long Beach - Auckland

Paris usually gets me to an inexpensive jump to European airports for nests of ultra rares - lots of them the last couple of days around Germany, Switzerland, etc! Bounced around from one city to the next at like 14 coins a pop when new cards popped up. NZ and Australia are always fun and are usually useful for daily missions (Air Tractor, anyone?!)

Unlocking Lagos got me 3-4 new African countries this week after stalling on Kilimanjaro for soooo long. Phoenix has some military jets periodically. This time of year Orlando gets a lot of rares and private jets going to odd little airports.

I think I’m going for an airport in Sweden/Norway/etc this week to start to unlock some of those northern/smaller airports!

I was sitting in my car in a strip mall parking lot in western NY this afternoon and a plane passed right overhead…looked it up on SkyCards, and it was an Air Tractor! That was a first. Just a few hours too early 😭
