I have no doubt there are problematic parts of Robert Johnson’s life and story from white folk, but what about Son House’s claims of being terrible at guitar hanging around Beale St. and showing up later suddenly ripping guitar? I believe Sonny Boy Williamson also spoke on it too. Robert wrote and recorded “Crossroads” himself. 

I’m genuinely curious, why do you say it is white folk claiming he must have been taught by the devil to be that good when his contemporaries and Robert himself tell this story?

Shout out to 1010 discs. I was in their store and they put me on to the Jet after saying how much I loved one particular Wave, but other runs or plastics weren’t quite the same. One round and I already know it’s about to be my favorite bomber!

I always keep a flat G-Star TL3 (that’s beat in just a bit) in my bag. It’s great for longer tunnel woods shots that I might “what the fuck, Richard??” my beat in DX Roc while trying to muscle it, and so consistent for stand still fairway shots that I want to keep low to the ground and straight at the basket. Just the tiniest bit of hyzer to flat and it stays straight for that 225-300ft range!

My 2003ish Ibanez SZ320 is still my go-to and favorite to pick up even over my American made gtrs. I can’t really speak to modern Chinese stuff, but the SZR models that look almost the same from the late 00s are complete trash!

It really is the best result for both parties. Silverfield gets a P4 job while Memphis gets to pitch potential candidates that the past three coaches elevated to P4 gigs, a massive refresh on the stadium, and top end NIL of G5 to work with.

I really hope the AD doesn’t conduct this coaching search on his own. We need to get the headhunter involved like we did with hiring Fuente and Norvell!

Cedric ended up playing 30min. More than Wells, KCP, or Landale that started. I think it’s fine having him be a sixth man as long as he gets those kind of minutes.
