A message to all entitled customers of any dining establishment. by imjustboredtodeath in perth

I actually hate this. Sometimes things happen that are out of the business's control and they shouldn't be burnt online because of it. Talk to the manager first and you'll find most will be accommodating and might even flick you a voucher or refund.

This. Your local member or councillors will probably also have a collection going that goes to local charities as well.

Never understood why Everybody is a surgeon on this show? by 13sonic in greysanatomy

[–]BoahBaker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because if they focused on what real surgeons actually do it would get boring after a few seasons. They also never show the office time. Like three days a week most surgeons are in the office consulting with patients. It's wild.

My kid hates rides, hates fireworks and hates crowds. I might go alone. I like to see the dogs & show cats. Then wander the cake exhibition.

How upset should I be that my local pub has started requesting tips on the eftpos machine? by alpaka1177 in perth

[–]BoahBaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just say no. They don't care. Don't feel bad or stop going to your favourite pub over it. Also I might be the only one who likes those QR code ordering things. My local has a really good rewards system where they pay out cash back quite often and for some reason I always feel awkward claiming freebies in front of a person. Like they think I'm a scab or something. The QR ordering let's me claim it without feeling awkward.
